As Hopper is flying away carrying Flick, Tuck & Roll pull off his right antenna.

Just as Hopper ditches Tuck & Roll, you see him flying away with both antennae still intact.

Then scene flashes to Tuck & Roll holding removed antenna.

At the very beginning, the sun is glinting off the water to the left of center, but when the view pulls back to show the island the shadows are all falling to the left, as if the sun is to the right of center.

The sun is sufficiently far away that moving the outline of the bird a few feet higher in the air wouldn't appreciably alter the size of the shadow it casts.

Rosie disappears briefly from Dim's back as they fly to Ant Island.

When Flick is leaving Ant Island, the two boys who follow him are making fun of him.

One boy says, "My dad says he is going to die.

" When Flick left the Island, the same boy says, "Your dad is right.

He's gonna die.

" When the fly paper lands on P.

T Flea and catches fire, he is standing near the top of the fly paper.

After it burns, he is standing in the middle of the burn patch.

When Flick goes to the bar to try to hire some warrior bugs, he watches a mosquito order a "Bloody Mary - O+".

The mosquito clearly is a male, while in reality only female mosquitoes drink blood.

Flik couldn't reach the back of his invention when he tried to get a seed for Dot.

Later, he is caught by a blade of grass and is flung backwards, and all the seeds fall out of his invention.

Then we see him running toward the offering stone with his invention full of seeds.

He couldn't have put them back in, because he can't reach his invention when it is on.

How did the seeds get in there? Before the "royal huddle" decides to send Flick away, if you look closely at Princess Atta's mouth when she says "He can't mess anything up" you'll notice that the word "screw" is what was animated as opposed to the word "mess".

About 20 minutes into the movie, in Rosie and Dim's "lion tamer" scene, we clearly see that Rosie accidentally whips Dim's left foot.

A few minutes later, as she's getting a bandage for him, he's whimpering and holding up his right foot for her.

Many of the characters have fewer legs than their real counterparts.

Francis, Gypsy Moth, Manny, PT Flea, the mosquitoes, fireflies, and all the ants have four legs instead of six.

Tuck and Roll have eight legs instead of fourteen.

Heimlich has four thoracic legs instead of six.

(The number of caterpillar prolegs can vary by species.

) When the leaf template of the bird is placed in the sun's path to make a shadow on the ground, the direction of the bird is placed in the sky, different to the way the shadow is on the ground.

When Dot flies after the circus caravan, and gets Flik to return, Flik is sitting off the back of the cart, so he can catch Dot.

As soon as Flik turns down Dot's request for help, he's sitting in the front of the wagon.

The bird that captures Hopper feeds him to her chicks whole.

In the real world, mother birds chew up and regurgitate food for their chicks, as their stomachs are not developed enough for solid foods.

Despite the title, none of the characters are bugs, scientifically speaking.

True bugs are only found in the Orders Hemiptera and Homoptera, and none of the characters are members of either order.

A misfit ant, looking for "warriors" to save his colony from greedy grasshoppers, recruits a group of bugs that turn out to be an inept circus troupe.Directors: John Lasseter, Andrew Stanton (co-director) Writers: John Lasseter (original story by), Andrew Stanton (original story by) Stars: Kevin Spacey, Dave Foley, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Kevin Spacey , Hayden Panettiere , Phyllis DillerAn entertaining tale, The image and sound are awesome visually it looks fabulous.

Woody Allen shines as Flik in this movie about little bugs. It was cool to see the animation that was made for the movie.

Pixar's 2nd feature, Bug's Life, finds them expanding their animation palette, expanding the boundaries of storytelling, and getting a little muddled in the process. This IS a very good movie, one that for the most part delights and enthralls, but something is lacking here.

After dazzling everyone with its unforgettable debut that revolutionised the entire animation industry in the long run, Pixar Animation Studios' follow up to their highly revered Toy Story is another wonderful piece of imagination, innovation & animation that once again presents a unique take on life but this time from a bug's point of view. The story of A Bug's Life follows a misfit ant who thinks differently yet only ends up causing more trouble for his colony so when his latest escapade wastes away all the food ants had gathered to offer to the greedy grasshoppers, he decides to make up for it by finding & recruiting tough warrior bugs to save the entire colony from its oppressors.

While A Bug's Life is not the greatest Pixar movie, it's ahead of its time animation certainly warrants appreciation. Outside of the technical aspects, A Bug's Life also set the precedent for Pixar movies to discuss more complex themes that exist in our society, something that Toy Story is not so focused on.

A Bug's Life is an underrated Pixar classic that easily gets forgotten among the likes of Toy Story, Monsters Incorporated, Finding Nemo, and The Incredibles, all of which had sequels or prequels in the 2010s. It is still very good as far as standalone films with no sequel go, like Megamind or Turbo.

Quite inspirational Pixar works, the story is not excellent, the characters set just right, the most absolutely is the film's final NG lens, Philip's "fly to the universe, the vast expanse" directly let me laugh.

A Bug's life had a good story. HAD.
