In several scenes, Akshay, Saif and Madhuri have different hairstyles and looks all of a sudden.
Akshay and Saif were a hit jodi in 1994 wit 2 hits Yeh Dillagi and MKTA but then their jodi never worked again, be it TU CHOR MAIN SIPAHI,KEEMAT all bombed. Aarzoo was reportedly a delayed film which was signed in early 90s The film is a romantic love triangle just like Yeh Dillagi but falters The film is directed bY Saajan fame Lawrence D'Souza The film is very clichéd and melodramatic, we have the same twists and turns done to death There are several gaffes in the film, the scenes shift from Mumbai to foreign locales and also the looks of the actors keep changing Akshay and Madz love story is finished within 8-15 minutes, Even their romance is too silly and trite, while The love triangle too gets repetitive.
Aarzoo has a strong cast of great actors like Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Amrish Puri, Madhuri and Saif Ali Khan in a poorly made flick. The dialogues were subpar.
Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan were a successful pair with the superhit Yeh Dillagi(1994) and Main Khiladi Tu Anari(1994) and this success led them to sign several unsuccessful ventures like Tu Chor Main Siphai(1996),Keemat(1998), and Aarzoo(1999). Of the unsuccessful films, Tu Chor Main Sipahi was clichéd and corny yet watchable due to some comedy and good action.
It is a good entertainment movie with some beautiful songs. Madhuri played her role with ease and perfection.
Aarzoo is an awful film. It is terribly made and more terribly written.
