Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (2013): Dir: Adam McKay / Cast: Will Ferrell, David Koechner, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, Christina Applegate: Every bit as exciting and hilarious as the first film. This one regards the legacy of anchorman Ron Burgundy who descends into the 1980's.

This movie should be renamed to Anchorman 2: Skits, because that's all this movie is. A bunch of SNL skits starring the original cast of the first Anchorman as well as some new and boring additions that just ruin what made the first funny.

They had Wil Ferrel, Steve Carrel, Paul Rudd and strong cast .. and they managed to produce pointless comedy.

I don't like these movies. I liked the star cameos.

Adam McKay waited almost a decade to direct a sequel to his 2004 hit "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy". At that time, the first opus was already a comedy classic about an iconic character, played by Will Ferrell.

I like the first anchorman, I think it explores sexism in a kind of clever way while also being an absurdist comedy. Anchorman 2 does practically the exact same thing again, but it's not as clever or funny.

The original Anchorman, created in 2004, became a classic and still has quotes being recited to this day such as Ron yelling, "Milk was a bad choice!" or Brick's kind invitation to Veronica saying, "I would like to extend to you an invitation to the pants party.

I really like this film, and I think it gets better with age too. I laughed a total 50.
