[side]In the cabin bedroom scene.

Reportedly deliberate.

When Alvy, Annie, and Rob are driving to Brooklyn, a police car can be seen on the freeway behind them slowing down traffic to keep it out of shot.

When Annie drives Alvy home from the tennis game she quickly parks behind a red car.

The next cut, showing the two exit the vehicle, clearly shows them parked behind a blue car.

During the Lobster scene in the beach house, the refrigerator is placed so close to the oven that it would be impossible to open the oven door.

(Scene was shot at Manhattan's Fashion Institute Of Technology on 7th Avenue.

) In the final credits, 'Christopher Walken' (qv)'s name is misspelled, reading as "Christopher Wlaken".

'Marshall McLuhan' (qv) says "You mean my whole fallacy is wrong" which is redundant.

He is essentially saying "You mean my whole [false argument] is wrong" which is not much of an insult.

- PLOTAfter Alvy and Annie breakup, she calls him while he's in bed with Pam.

Annie later tells Alvy that she thought she heard a voice in the background but during the phone call Pam doesn't utter a sound.

The lobsters that Annie and Alvy are 'battling' in the kitchen are dead; thus, Alvy had no need to act like they were running from him, and furthermore, the lobster than Alvy puts into the pot that Annie said had boiling water has no water, as evidence by the sound when Alvy puts the lid on.

The road that Annie is driving on in the VW after the tennis game is an unmarked street and was delineated with a yellow line only for the movie; it is not a two-way street.

When Annie is driving on the freeway with Alvy, a police cruiser can be seen in the background holding back traffic.

Whenever Rob is driving his Mercedes, several cars are seen tailgating trying to get into the shot.

After Annie and Alvy leave the Hollywood café, they get into their cars, yet Alvy's rented car is suddenly parked out in the sticks; he runs into other cars which are clearly in a rural area before the police arrive.

I believe it's a one of the best contemporary romantic-comedy and maybe the first. It's not a boring or monotone film, more innovative movie.

I am not remotely a fan of Woody Allen, but that does not mean that he has not produced work that I have enjoyed. I am actually rather fond of his valentine to NYC, Manhattan.

In 1977, everyone was talking about "Annie Hall," Woody Allen's film about a romance gone wrong. There was the "Annie Hall" look, "la-di-da," and TV shows ripped off the lobster scene.

"Write about what you know", or so they say. In "Annie Hall", one of Woody Allen's first films, we can sense the application of that common phrase.

This is an unusual but very entertaining film. It frequently flouts customary movie rules: for example, the characters often break "the fourth wall" and confide directly to the camera (we, the audience) their thoughts or have subtitles on the screen telling us what they're really thinking.

Annie Hall (1977) **** (out of 4) Woody Allen's Oscar-winning masterpiece has him playing Alvy Singer, a paranoid writer who recounts his up and down relationship with Annie Hall (Diane Keaton), a wannabe singer. I'll admit right up front that ANNIE HALL is my favorite movie of all time.

This movie thoroughly deserves an 8 or a more than that rating. This movie is unlike other over the top love stories which you experience otherwise.

I saw this movie in a New Humanities class. What a waste of 93 minutes.

I was slightly disappointed after watching "Annie Hall". It is touted as one of the all time great films.
