Cem Yilmaz is a good figure of comedy in Turkish community and I respected his works in terms of stand up and movies in past. But I think he lost his freshness in the late years.
What should have been a small nod to 60's Turkey is forced into a feature film. There are so many plot holes in the script you could use it as a skimmer and find not gold but mud.

I just watched the film, I have to say, it suits its purpose perfectly. I will try to analyze it as I can but I have to say, people who criticize it here, really are bad at it.
Regarding this movie is made with an intention to make people laugh the jokes are far from doing so. The movie itself usually refers to the classic movies or his own movies but it is not made cleaverly or in a humorous way rather with a play with words.
