This interesting but claustrophobic little thriller has a few interesting elements, but action really isn't one of them. A good majority of it is spent in Noreen Nash's boarding house with her initially unaware that the men with her boyfriend Robert Bice are criminals, part of a payroll robbery.

A gang steal a load of money and the insurance company send an insurance investigator to the boarding house which is run by the chief suspect's girlfriend to find out what is going on. Gene Raymond (Dan) carries out the visit to Noreen Nash (Bonnie).
A rather good film noir. Short, accurate, sharp and well acted.
