Be Cool

The dead Russian hit man at Chili Palmer's house can be seen moving his eyes.

Towards the beginning of the movie when Chili Palmer and Tommy Athens are at the sidewalk coffee shop, there are two women sitting at the table directly behind Chili Palmer.

In one shot, the woman closest to Chili Palmer cuts her food with her fork and brings her fork to her mouth to eat, but there is nothing on her fork.

When Sin's gang hangs Raji off the balcony, his hat is gray.

As the hat falls and the camera follows it down, it's brown.

Then, when it lands on the cement and the Russians pick it up, it's gray again.

When Raji is talking to Nick Carr his silver chain is repeatedly in/out of his shirt between shots.

When Chili comes down stairs at Edie's house, Sin mistakenly quotes "Knockin on Heaven's Door""that cold black cloud is coming down ".

The correct lyrics are "That long black cloud is coming down.

" The 'Aerosmith' (qv) tattoo on Edie's back when she is outside on the lawn chair and Chili first sees her in the movie is obviously different than the one she shows 'Steven Tyler (I)' (qv) later in the movie at the Lakers game.

When Elliot pauses the video of himself in Edie's home.

He pauses it on one still and when he restarts the video, it starts from a different still.

Linda and 'Steven Tyler (I)' (qv) appear on stage for their song.

In the first shot she's behind him to his right.

In the next shot she's moved behind him to his left, may be a flip.

When talking to Chili and Evie, 'Steven Tyler (I)' (qv) says that he has never appeared in a movie up to this point and doesn't want to start now, obviously a sarcastic line as he is in the film.

However, he forgot _Wayne's World 2 (1993)_ (qv).

When Chili meets 'Steven Tyler (I)' (qv) after the basketball match, Tyler can be seen mouthing other actors' lines.

At the end during Linda Moon's performance when Elliot is waving to Chili and Edie, you see the break dancers starting to dance behind him; when he is exiting the stage, you see the same dancers just getting on stage.

The 'Aerosmith' (qv) song "Sweet Emotion" is not about of 'Steven Tyler (I)' (qv)'s daughter Liv.

The song is from 1975.

'Liv Tyler' (qv) was born in 1977.

Chili Palmer lists stories in which the narrators are dead mentioning _Casino (1995)_ (qv) as one example.

However, although Casino gives the impression that the narrator is dead in the opening scene (the car exploding), we later find out he in fact survived the explosion.

When the Russian confronts Chili after killing Tommy, we see his right eye is black.

However, later when the receptionist is explaining what happened when the Russian visits Tommy before killing him, Tommy is seen swinging his right fist at the Russian.

This would have blackened the Russian's left eye.

The Soviet passport of the dead Russian Ivan Survanyiev was issued August 18, 1998, many years after the breakup of the Soviet union.

Not much to write home about, a lot of violence by people who were gun crazy.

The one thing about Be Cool is that it has an awesome ensemble cast. Other than that, it's got a great director and dialogue.

A pretty great comedy that doesn't hesitate to make fun of itself. Lots of celebrity cameos that make it fun and exciting.

This is a sequel to Get Shorty. Chili Palmer (John Travolta) is tired of the movie business and wants to get into the music business with a new found talent Linda Moon (Christina Milian).

BE COOL is an American film. And thus, it is meant for Americans.

FX channel has a real knack for turning just ok flicks into good movies through their excellent editing staff! This movie has potential...

1st The rock as a fag:brilliant,it's about time he played a different role,2nd John Travolta is cooooooooollll...3rd Uma is dead sexy and the of the cast put the rest together perfectly is this clever comedy that I would watch again again.

The writing and directing were just inferior to Get Shorty. With a few exceptions of some laughs, especially Vince Vaughn, this was just a bore and a rip-off Get Shorty.

There's a line in Be Cool that sums up the whole film for me. Stephen Tyler shows up and, upon seeing Uma Thurman, says, "Look at how those legs come together and make an ass out of themselves!
