Errores

The film claims that that 'Eric Harris (V)' (qv) and 'Dylan Klebold' (qv) attended a bowling class on the morning of the massacre.

This is incorrect as testified in a judicial review.

As 'Charlton Heston' (qv) walks away from 'Michael Moore (II)' (qv) in the final interview, the scene cuts repeatedly between Heston (point of view from behind Moore) and Moore (point of view from the stairs directly in front of Moore) holding a photo of the slain Flint, Michigan girl and asking Heston to look at it.

When the POV is of Moore holding the photo, there is clearly no cameraman anywhere behind him.

The same with the POV of Heston, there is clearly no cameraman anywhere in front of Moore.

So the two POVs were not filmed simultaneously as the film implies.

A clip of a Godzilla-type monster roaring is shown while showing gun-related death rates for Japan.

The clip, however, is from _Gorgo (1961)_ (qv), which was a UK production.

Windsor, Ontario, is described as "a city of millions" in voiceover narration, but the Windsor Metro area has a population of just over 300,000 people.

Let's face it, Michael Moore is a film producer who profits on low budget productions. His "documentaries" are cut and pasted to his liking - he only allows his subjects to interject sound bites of his approval.

In the wake of the most massive tragedy of all, the planes on 9/11 flying into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon and into a field in Pennsylvania, Bowling For Columbine found a ready and receptive audience and earned itself an Oscar for Best Documentary. It's not clear however whether this will stand the test of time like some of the work that Edward R.

In this documentary, Michael Moore attempts to explain the reason that America has the gun violence it does. In the process he examines a number of claims but fails, unfortunately, to come up with any meaningful answers.

Early in the film, Moore tells us that he is a card-carrying member of the National Rifle Association, and he points out that Canada has more guns per capita and less gun violence than the United States has. If the guns alone are not the problem, he asks, what is?

I thoroughly enjoyed this film, and for that reason, I wanted to give it a high score. Until I sat down and tried to digest what Mike Moore had been telling me.

10/10 Stars - For Keeping Alive, The Memories Of The 1999 Columbine High School Mass Shooting. For the exposure of the tragedy, Michael Moore deserves a credit on his side, as this sorta thing happens all the time in USA, but not all are exposed to the documentary media forum.

Michael Moore cares more about making money. Sensationalizing, lying, exploiting the victims to push his anti-gun agenda sums up his objective.

Bowling for Columbine, the comedic depiction of the gun issues that America must tackle, is a moving story about several topics that relate to gun rights, such as the Columbine Massacre in 1999. This film puts the bigger picture of gun rights and most of the political issues that our government must tackle such as weapons of mass destruction.

An eye opening film to how nearly 20 years later we are still combatting the same issues of rights meeting civic duty. The question of "Even if I can, should I?
