The smokestack silhouettes behind the Evil Queen have smoke coming out their sides as well as their tops.

When the Captain is confronting the Evil Queen, he takes a few steps up the stairway for emphasis, accidentally revealing the puppeteer controlling the Fuzzball character sitting on his shoulder.

As Captain EO rises up through the floor in his initial entrance a roll of Gaffer tape is seen by his feet, accidentally left by a crew member.

When the ship is getting attacked in the beginning, Fuzzball flies over to a pair of hanging binoculars and in the next shot, Hooter jumps into his bunk to hide and Fuzzball is laying inside of it.

In one wide-shot of the inside of the ship as its being attacked, Major Domo has two large gray cables attached to him from his waist to the wall.

As Captain EO runs to tell Commander Bog that he's found the beacon, Minor Domo's "puppet rod" is visibly shown holding him up and moving him around.

As Captain EO runs to tell Commander Bog that he's found the beacon, Hooter is shown hanging upside down from the roof and in the next shot, he's standing next to Major Domo.

As Captain EO runs to tell Commander Bog that he's found the beacon, Minor Domo's shown next the control panel and in the next shot he's by the control stick next to the Captain.

When the Whip Warriors get their whips tied together by Fuzzball, the whips are in a pretzel knot and in the next shot, they are simply one long whip with two handles.

When Captain EO goes to "Transform" the first zombie-like man in the pillar, the wide shot shows him already stepping out then it shows the close-up of Captain EO "Transforming" him and the next wide shot is stepping down from the previous wide-shot.

The first two zombie-like men that Captain EO " Transform " are different dancers after they're shown in close-ups then when they all form together behind Captain EO and dance.

When the Supreme Leader commands her troops to be sent in, many of the smoke stacks in the background are flat cardboard cut-outs with smoke blowing out of the sides and top of them.

As Minor Domo transformers into Hooter's keyboard, towards the right side of the frame is a small transparent-colored faded matte-box for aiding the composite shot of the background and Minor Domo.

When Captain EO and his crew are getting captured, Fuzzball appears on and off the Captain's shoulder in various shots.

When the gate behind Captain EO raises as he is done " transforming " the Whip Warriors into Dancing Robots, it is goes to the top of the roof and stops and in the next two shots, the gate's still raising up.

When The Supreme Leader walks over to Captain EO for him to take her hand, the Robot Dancers are standing far off to the sides of her and in the next shot, as he kisses her hand and turns around to salute, the Robot Dancers are standing together, behind her.

This is possibly due to the fact due that a deleted scene happened here in which the Supreme Leader " knights " Captain EO with a sword and then he rises up.

(The making of this scene can be found in the Making-Of Special.

) As Captain EO dances towards toward the camera during the introduction for Another Part of Me, his crew is also dancing behind him, following him, however, in the next shot as turns completely around, his entire crew standing behind him as he starts to sing the song.

In a couple of shots behind Captain EO as the ship is under attack, there is an animated vertical rectangle-shaped black matte box behind Captain EO as to cover up for temporary animated special effects for Commander Bog.

In fact, in the wide-shot that shows his crew celebrate after they defeat the attack, a solid-white animated head is visibly blurry behind Captain EO, which is intended to represent Commander Bog before the special effects were completed, thus the reason why there is an animated black matte box behind Captain EO.

Amazing short 3D film that was screened at the Epcot Center in DisneyWorld, Florida for only about eight years, don't think you could see it anywhere else. His literally' Thriller' in space and just as cool, Jackson in one of his trademark jumpsuit style costumes, plenty of buckles, ties, sparkle and this time his a nice white costume, much like something outta' Star Wars.

I originally saw Captain EO in 1989 and was spectacularly under-whelmed by its mediocrity even then, the 'film' ostensibly an excuse for some of the biggest egos in the US entertainment business to recklessly blow a shed-load of Disney's cash. Now, with its star Michael Jackson having moon-walked off this mortal coil, this extravagant multi-million dollar musical spectacular has been reinstated as an attraction at Disneyland, giving me another chance to revel in all of its bloated, self-indulgent, 80s 'splendour'.

I must admit, I've only seen this film twice, and I'm very impressed, good story, excellent talent, awesome soundtrack which includes 2 great tracks by the star of the movie Michael Jackson-the songs are: 'We Are Here To Change The World' and 'Another Part Of Me' which adds a peaceful colour to the movie , and it's fun to enjoy and watch.Captain EO made full use of its 3-D effects.

Horrible excuse for a "movie" (mostly just an extended music video). What's wrong with it: 1.

Some of the reviews here come off strangely, because to review this film in the same context you would review a movie or a short film is to review it outside of the context for which it was created. Because it wasn't made to be a Feature length or even a short film, it was made to be a ride at an amusement park.

Do not get me wrong: Jackson did produce some excellent short-films in his career, and possessed a strong sense of what would work visually - of what would be unique and strange. I would advise film-goers and pop fans to seek out "Thriller" and "Ghosts" to see his artistry well conveyed on film.

Maybe "Captain EO" leaves more of an impact if you actually saw it as the theme park attraction that it initially was, but for me it didn't do too much, maybe because I am not the greatest Star Wars fan. George Lucas' involvement with this movie is clearly visible.

This entire 17-minute film was one of the most brilliant shorts for the great Michael Jackson! I mean, first of all the character designs are reminiscent to George Lucas' "Star Wars" and the music is mesmerizing.

Captain EO had was honey I shrunk...missed.
