An overly long and indulgent disappointment of a rock doc that brings nothing new to the party. Much is left out with gaps filled in by inexplicable meandering 'art'.

I've been an admirer of Brett Morgen's work for a while, and throughout his films (Kid Stays in the Picture, Chicago 10, 06/17/94), he's constantly displayed a great gift for how to do montages and to expand the form of the documentary, whether it's through voice-over that is (and isn't) right out of a book with corresponding imagery for Robert Evans, or with rotoscoped animation for the trial of the Chicago 7 in the late 60's. So it is logical that if he'd take on a documentary on Kurt Cobain it would be in montage form.

I've read every book out there on Kurt Cobain and Nirvana. I've also seen every movie, documentary or YouTube clip on the subject.

I haven't seen every single Kyrt Cibain documentary out there but I've seen enough to say that this is the best film about the Nirvana singer/songwriter out there. It is very told from his perspective, as much as it could be because he is not around to tell his own story.

This was a good biography and i really liked it. For moments you almost can feel what Kurt felt trough his life, he was almost trapped itself.

If you're a fan this is more filler than anything else but if you want to get a deeper more intimate look at KC, watch Soaked in Bleach.

I sure love his music but was unware of the personal side of his. Read only what was being printed in magazines and stuffs.

Really simple but also wild and crude, just like Kurt...

I saw this documentary for what it is. A documentary.
