Deadpool one was really good. Deadpool 2 was really good.
The first Deadpool film was so fresh when it came out, and produced a lot of laughs whilst also having a compelling narrative. I didn't know how they could possibly follow it up with anything nearly as good, but somehow they managed to.
Deadpool 2 kicks more ass and are even more crazy than the first one. I still hold the first one as slightly better.
Deadpool 2 is my personal favorite x-men movie with amazing performances (ryan Reynolds and Josh brolin are the best), great action scenes with beautifully Bloody results, amazing comedy (opening credits are the funniest), heartwarming moments, jokes in the background that are so clever, a great end credits scenes, and a engaging story. The only flaw is while some visuals are good there's some that's pretty bad.
PROS: Ryan Reynolds's delivery of Deadpool lines is never not funny Cable and Domino are good additions to the cast The 4th-wall breaking is out of control, usually with hilarious results Russell (a clear nod to Logan's X-23) is funny as well The entire post-credit, time-travel story Stunt sequences are gold, especially the long shot in the sauna The X-Force auditions.CONS: Sometimes the humor is a bit forced and unnecessary The final act is too long Some shaky CGI.
Why can't all sequels be this good...
Granted, the theme of Deadpool requires a leap of faith. And the humor requires a fourth wall kind of suspension of sensibility.
I liked the first Deadpool a lot more than I thought I would. It was not a joked-down super hero movie.
Awful really awful the whole plot made no sense!
