When Peter emerges from the coffin, he is dragged out and pulls the body slightly out, he then causes a minor disturbance where a number of people try to hold him down.

Daniel then interrupts this disturbance with the eulogy, but the body is no longer partially out and the lid has been closed, all within a few seconds.

When Simon gets out of the bathroom window he is completely naked, but moments later he appears in the same position leaning over to spit and you can see the edge of his underwear at the bottom right of the screen.

Troy drops the bottle of 'Valium' on the kitchen table, label face up, to answer the door.

His sister Martha walks by and the bottle is laying label face down.

When Daniel is giving his final speech about his father at the funeral service, at one point, Jane is seen in close-up, looking at him, however, in the very next shot, she is looking down at a photograph in her hand.

A funeral is really the perfect setting for a British comedy. There's just something about the British and funerals contrasted with all the silliness that's going on that makes me laugh hysterically.

Please God, erase this movie from my mind... I saw the Original about 5 times and I can't stop laughing each time.

Eight out of ten well deserved. For such a recent movie, it's still got the classic British humour, sometimes a little predictable, yet still it is a well-thought plot with attention for detail.

I forgot how good this movie was. Watched again this week and it makes the others, including the original, look like an after school special!

The strength of this film is its ensemble cast. No one actor dominates the film, though almost every frame containing Alan Tudyck is memorable.

"Death at a Funeral" is a hilarious British black comedy from 2007 starring Matthew MacFadyen, Peter Dinklage, Jane Asher, Alan Tudyk, Kris Marshall, Rupert Graves, and Peter Vaughan.A family gathers for the patriarch's funeral: his wife (Asher), his son Daniel (MacFadyen) and his wife Jane (Keely Hawes, MacFadyen's real-life wife), and his son Robert (Rupert Graves).

One of the worst movie I have ever seen. None of the scenes will make you laugh.

After reading some of these reviews and noticing some aggressive responses to others comments I will add my opinion of the FILM and not partake in undermining others opinions. Likewise if you don't agree with my opinion I ask that you accept this to be MY opinion and to refrain from harrassing and slanderous comments - I will not answer as I do not engage in negativity :) SO...

Flipping thru channels so watched this edited, but plenty of laugh out loud moments. I didn't know it was a remake, but done great.
