In the farmhouse, when Cooper is reloading the MP5 magazines with new bullets, at the kitchen table, the ignition caps already have firing pin impressions on them, showing them to have already been fired.

During Ryan and Cooper's altercation over the dog, the pistol in Ryan's hand changes position with the camera angle.

When the stuntman in the werewolf costume falls out the upstairs window after being shot by the Sarge, the stuntman's boots are clearly visible.

When Sam the dog has a mouthful of Wells's bandage, some of the bandage is hanging out of Sam's mouth.

In the next shot, no pieces are hanging out of his mouth.

When Wells crashes into the oven, the bottom plate comes off and the gas hose falls out.

He cuts the hose and in the next shot the bottom plate is suddenly back on the oven.

Amount of blood on people is inconsistent in some scenes.

When the team reaches the destroyed special forces position there are 105mm charges and ammunition amongst the equipment present.

The 105mm is an artillery piece unlikely to be used in a wood, and definitely not by special forces.

The group of soldiers are referred to a 'squad'.

'Squad' is not the name given to a small infantry unit in the British Army, it is called a section.

Also sections have 8 men minimum, not 6, and generally are commanded by a corporal.

Throughout the first half of the film, when the squad is armed with the standard British rifle, the SA80, Cooper holds the weapon in his left shoulder.

The SA80 is always held in the right shoulder, even if the user is left handed.

When Ryan holds his gun to Cooper's head during the 'special forces selection' scene at the beginning of the film, the magazine is clearly not inserted.

Ryan goes on to shoot a dog with this same weapon seconds later.

When Ryan is thrown across the table, the sword is shown being knocked to the floor.

But when Ryan gets up and puts his arms on the table, the sword is back on the table.

Then the next shot, the sword is on the ground again and Cooper is reaching for it.

After Spoon has reported the status on their ammunition, Cooper places his gun on the table.

In the next shot, two bandages suddenly appear beside its hammer.

This is true in wide screen tv as in full screen, the hammer is cut off before it cuts to the shot with bandages.

(at around 1h 13 mins) Megan shoots all the ammo from her magazine but the slide doesn't lock back on the last shot like it should.

It was designed to do this to allow for the next magazine.

When Megan rescues the soldiers in her truck, you can see stationary scenery such as trees through the passenger windows visible in the background of the closeups of her and Pvt.

Cooper, despite the actors all bumping and swaying to suggest being in a moving vehicle.

Several times in the movie characters are seen with the MP5 bolt in the locked up position, The weapon cannot fire in this position as it must be down to do so.

I'd heard this movie referenced semi regularly for the last 10-15 years, so I finally got to watching it 18 years after it's release.Great cast and performances, specifically by Sean Pertwee, who really brings it hard in this "arcade style" action/horror flick.

I watched the movie The Descent yesterday (by the same director) and it was one of the best horror flicks I'd seen in a long time, going straight into my top horror flicks list. So I decided to check out something else by the same director and saw people suggesting Dog Soldiers was better than The Descent so I grabbed that too.

I'm a fan of B (sometimes C) movies, you can get some memorable moments and some classic tales amongst the expected duds.I didn't have a lot of hope for this being a masterpiece but was happily surprised about how entertaining this movie actual was.

Man, I can't believe it took me this long to finally watch this movie. While I'm not too keen on werewolf films, this one is excellent.

This places our heroes, a group of British soldiers out on a routine training exercise in the Scottish Highlands. They soon discover a special forces camp wiped out and torn to pieces.

I overlooked this in the past as I though there's no way us brits can match Hollywood for effects... especially in a horror movie...

This is a subgenre of horror that I don't really venture into too often. I actually really enjoy the idea of the werewolf, it just to seem like one where there aren't a lot that come out and I've seen most of the major classics.

I will admit to being somewhat sceptical when I sat down to watch this, but within about twenty minutes the auditorium was chuckling to the witty banter of Sean Pertwee and his squad of soldiers who find themselves stuck on an exercise in a remote Scottish forest when they'd sooner be in the wardroom sinking a few beers while watching Germany beat England at football. When their fireside banter is ruined by a missile shaped like a dead cow things start to liven up and what ensues is a race against time for their very survival - there are more dangerous creatures in the forest than red squirrels!

Don't know how it got high ratings.worst graphic ever .
