When Slannen the elf frees Ella from prison, Ella opens Benny to find out where Edgar is.

When she opens the book she opens to the first page.

In the next shot the book's pages have been opened to the middle.

During the fight at Char's coronation, most of the curl has fallen out of Ella's hair.

But when the fight is over it is neat and curly again.

When Char cuts Ella free from the ogre pot, she falls.

In the next shot, she's still upright and he grabs her onto his horse.

After her stepsisters order Ella to steal, at the end of the chase one of the guards yells "freeze".

She freezes and hangs in the air with her mouth closed.

In the next shots her mouth is wide open.

During Ella's "Somebody to Love" number at the giant wedding, the cut and bloodstain on Char's left shirtsleeve appear and disappear between shots.

At the wedding, just before two tables part to allow all to stand up and start dancing, the pulling-wire can be seen attached to the left hand table.

At the end, when Hattie tells Ella to never kiss Char, Ella's hair is behind her back.

Then when she goes to kiss Char, her hair is suddenly in front again.

While Ella is talking to Areida on moving staircase, her hair is behind her on her back, but when they start to argue her hair is in front.

During the final fight, Ella starts to drop before Char tells her to "duck".

Brunnhilda blames the "stupid Grimm Brothers" for "Jack and the Beanstalk", but Jack is an English tale not found in the German collections of 'Jacob Grimm' (qv) and 'Wilhelm Grimm (I)' (qv).

- PLOTElla's enchantment fails on at least two occasionswhen Prince Charmont says "Allow me" and she continues to refuse his help, and when Slannen says "Forget it" and she continues to discuss his legal aspirations.

The earlier "bite me" scene established that Ella's enchantment takes colloquial "commands" literally, thus she should have allowed Char to help her, and literally forgotten about Slannen's peeves.

When Char takes Ella to the hall of mirrors, he holds both of her hands.

Later, when the clock reaches 12, Ella has the dagger though there were no places in which she could have kept the dagger without Char seeing.

Ella Enchanted is a creative movie based on the book by Levine. This story is partly based on classic Disney princess stories, including some aspects from Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella.

Baby Ella (Anne Hathaway) was given a 'gift of obedience' by Lucinda the fairy (Vivica A. Fox).

The story of Ella Enchanted, according to the book is a gorgeous Medieval version of Cinderella where a girl named Ella gets cursed to be an obedient child. When I read this story I fell in love with it for it's timelessness, characters, the story itself, the conflicts, and the creatures of the land.

I never read the book. Not comparing the movie to anything.

Let's just say this did not meet expectations. If you read the book it is a travesty.

Make For A Good movieGood movie with a a good subject matter. I think that the teenage culture was represented well in this movie and the subject of relations is relevant even today.

"Ella Enchanted" is usually the sort of movie that I would heckle, but Anne Hathaway is not someone whom I heckle. It's true that she started out in roles like "The Princess Diaries", but her later turns in "Brokeback Mountain", "The Devil Wears Prada" and "Rachel Getting Married" showed her to be more than just another pretty face, although I do find her quite attractive.

My subject line says it all. 10/10 from me because I think this film is wonderful in that it's good fun and is great family viewing.

Ella Enchanted is crazy and fun. The fantasy is definitely there as the movie moves along.
