The first time we see Ted Pikul at the trout farm, he labels an envelope with the letters LA.

The L is clearly connected to the A.

However in the next shot with the envelope on the conveyor belt the L and A are no longer connected.

When Ted and Allegra approach the motel in the car, only the driver is visible.

When Pikul is extracting the tooth from Allegra's shoulder, the sleeve of her top is rolled down.

In the next shot after it comes out, her shoulder is covered again, but Pikul's hand resting on it hasn't moved.

(There are deliberate costume discontinuities in this movie, when the characters shift in and out of eXistenZ, but this isn't one of them.

One bored Sunday afternoon i thought i would browse for a film to pass the time, and happened upon eXistenZ, boy do I wish I hadntTotally confusing in its complete lack of suspense, an audible plot, effective script and believable performances by any of the actors. Even Christopher Ecclestone was awful in it, that should give you an idea just how bad this film is.

EXistenZ is the stupidest, most boring movie I have seen in long time (I am making this comment as a warning to any casual viewers: Don't waste your time). This movie might be interesting if you are part of the video game culture, but if you are simply looking for an interesting movie to entertain you for an hour or so, Do Not watch eXistenZ.

I continue to watch this film whenever it appears through the direct TV. As usual, d.

When I watched this movie, I was unaware that comparisons were being made to this movie and The Matrix, but I think the chips fell in the right place for both movies: The Matrix is universally recognized as an excellently crafted blend of sci-fi and action and this movie is another of Cronenberg's representations of science fiction: weird, grotesque merging of human beings and ..whatever.

Well, this is just my observation---pay attention to Jennifer Jason Leigh's hair. The deeper she is in the game, the more crimped her hair becomes.

Hee, yet another David Cronenberg picture that divides opinions, not just among the casual film watchers, but also his most ardent fans.Plot is a little nutty in actuality, as it finds Jennifer Jason Leigh as the world's most high profile games designer.

A game designer on the run from assassins (Jennifer Jason Leigh) must play her latest virtual reality creation with a marketing trainee (Jude Law) to determine if the game has been damaged. This film has a lot going for it, such as being heavily inspired by Philip K.

I'm not sure that virtual reality gaming is a trend that really ever caught on. The video games we play are virtual non-reality games where we control another character, rather than being the character.

... I want to give an example of a truly rotten film.
