During the car chase, Jack's hair alternates between flat and spiked.

At Johnny's bar, Jerry's hand alternates between being on the table and holding a glass off the table.

When Bobby interrupts the high school basketball game, Jerry walks away from Bobby.

In the next shot, he is next to Bobby again.

After the kid tells Bobby the lights go off at ten, Bobby checks his watch on his left hand.

In the next shot, the watch is on his right hand.

At the end, a cop asks Bobby, "Let me ask you again.

" Then he asks "What happened to Victor Sweet, Mercer?" without moving his lips.

The Detroit Police Department does not have a "SWAT" team; they have an "SRT" (Special Response Team).

Bobby's tattoo disappears when he is on the toilet.

The T-shirt wouldn't have hidden all of it.

During the shootout at the house, the brothers run out to help Jack, then run back inside to dodge bullets.

When they jump down on the floor right inside the house, Bobby brushes up against the brick wall (which is stopping all the bullets), and the whole wall shakes back and forth.

When Lt.

Green talks to the Mercers after the shootout, the two windows on the top floor of the blue house directly behind Lt.

Green are closed.

After Bobby talks about "burying Sweet", the camera goes back to Green, and both windows are wide open.

The movie is set in Detroit, but in outdoor scenes a distinctive, oval Star Choice satellite dish can be seen on at least one house.

Star Choice is only available in Canada.

When Jeremiah is accused of having something to do with Evelyn's death, he pushes Bobby and punches Angel.

Angel falls back from the punch and knocks some items off of a bookcase.

In the next shot, some of the items are back in their original places.

A close-up of the front of the El Camino Guys driver's license shows that it is a pre-2000 Michigan license.

In the next shot, the back of the license has a magnetic stripe, which is found on post-2000 licenses.

At the funeral reception, Green and Fowler's police car has a rotating lamp on the drivers side door in one shot.

In the next shot, the light is gone.

When Officer Green is shot in the alley, you can see the squib under his shirt just before the cut to his partner pulling the trigger.

When Bobby and Jack are looking at the guns found at the shooter's apartment, Sofi throws a towel at Bobby.

He ducks, and the towel hits the hanging lamp causing it to swing.

In the next shot, Jeremiah walks over to the table, and the lamp is completely still.

When Bobby kneels over Jack after he has been shot, the snow on his left arm changes pattern and amount and even disappears in one shot.

During Jack's funeral, the camera winds up on Evelyn's tombstone.

It says she was born in 1939 and died in 2004, which would make her 65.

Bobby said she was 62, which means she was born in 1942.

During the shootout, one of the attackers breaks into the house.

Jeremiah grabs him from behind and stabs him.

Yet no blood appears anywhereJeremiah, the attacker, and the knife stay clean.

In the scene where Victor Sweet is driving to the ice hole to meet Jeremiah, the first scene, from the air, shows him in a black GM model full-size SUV, either a Tahoe or a Cadillac Escalade (appears to have Escalade wheels), but after cutting to him IN the vehicle, and then to the front of the vehicle pulling up and stopping, it is a Lincoln Navigator, around the same year model.

The store where Evelyn is killed is described as "106th Street Liquor store.

" Detroit has no 106th street.

In the scene where the Insurance agent introduces himself and states the purpose of his visit, he states he is from "State Farm Insurance".

However when Jerry cashes the check it is from "Mutual State Insurance".

Arabic letters in the showcase of a store where Evelyn Mercer has been killed do not only form words but have no ligatures while they must.

John Singleton's "Four Brothers" (2005) takes place in Detroit, Michigan. The first scene starts out with an elderly, good natured woman lecturing a young man about stealing candy from the local convenience store.

Great movie. Well cast and good pace.

The acting and script is so bad i honestly can't tell if it's meant to be this bad or not? I find it hard to believe someone would make this movie with a straight face.

The story starts rather promising, then they try to show you the band between the brothers in a lot of very small scenes that keep getting worse and worse. just when you are getting tired of this and hope for some action they kill all the bonding you very much tried to build up with the brothers.

Four adopted brothers (Mark Wahlberg, Tyrese Gibson, André Benjamin, Garrett Hedlund) reunites when their mother gets shot in a convenient store holdup. Only they find that she may have been targeted.

He's angry, he's confused and he's out for revenge. Movie is as described on the box.

It's not too bad of a watch at all. I'm glad I picked the film this evening, but I had a few issues with it which I wanted to discuss.

It was a typical whalberg film but I enjoyed it. Was quite slow at times.

Usually people crucify you on imdb when giving movies that werent true masterpieces 10s. Well I admit there were some small issues and flaws.
