The first Ghost Rider film from 2007 was fairly faithful to the comic. When Ghost Rider came out in 1972 it was more of a general idea than a fully fleshed-out premise.

Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance is a truly awful movie, not only is it an embarrassment to this character that is featured in the title, but it is an embarrassment to the superhero genre as a whole. So, it is a ever so slight downgrade from its predecessor.

Dull sequel with a weak script, which is far from the level of the initial Ghost Rider. I wish that Nicolas Cage, Christopher Lambert and Idris Elba could have saved that cheap B-Movie, lost somewhere between Romania and Turkey where it was shot, but it desperately lacks a Soul!

I do hope Nicholas Cage will do a 3rd Ghost Rider. I enjoyed the first and though many years later I just watched the 2nd.

This movie wasn't supposed to be dramatic, epic, serious or whatever. I don't want to point out to people that it's a Neveldine/Taylor flick, but their style doesn't mesh with everyone.

I had some time to kill this morning and there was nothing on the DVR, so I decided to see this movie, a sequel to the one that demonstrated that Nicholas Cage's performance can be improved by replacing his head with a flaming skull. Who says that CGI is worthless?

I would have given a 2/10 but this movie is so hilariously awful atrocious bizarre and terrible that I couldn't help myself and rate this higher than the first movie if I had to be honest. I think ghost rider himself (not Johnny Blaze) is better in this movie than he was in the first one as a positive along with the cgi done for him.
