Errores

During Connor's speech, Sandra's makeup is messed up with black smudges under her eyes, but when the camera angle changes, the smudges are gone.

When Conner's iPhone rings during the rehearsal dinner, he answers it and talks, but it's upside down during the entire conversation.

When Connor tries to break up future Brad and future Jenny's wedding, he passes through them like a ghost, but his foot catches the priest's robes and makes them move.

Sergeant Major is supposed to be a Marine Staff Non-Commissioned officer, but uses the Army's "Hooah" response, rather than the Marines' "Oorah" (equivalent to Navy's "Hooyah").

Similarly, his nickname "Sarge" is an Army or Air Force term, Marines are very insulted by it.

While 'Jennifer Garner (I)' (qv) is dancing with 'Daniel Sunjata' (qv) she is wearing closed shoes but runs to the kitchen when she hears a commotion.

She then appears in the kitchen wearing strap sandals.

When Conner crashes his uncle's Cadillac, it is seen going in to the lake.

Later in the scene, it is seen parked in front of the lake.

Nadja/Nadia is not strictly a Russian girl's name, but is common in many countries throughout the world.

Famous Romanian gymnast 'Nadia Comaneci' (qv), who shares a nationality with the Nadja in this movie.

During the initial scene where Sergeant Major Volkom meets Connor Mead, Volom complains there were never any films made about the Korean War.

This is incorrect.

There were numerous films made, including a major Korean-made film released in the USA.

(Four American-made Korean War films were _Pork Chop Hill (1959)_ (qv) staring 'Gregory Peck' (qv), _The Steel Helmet (1951)_ (qv) staring 'Gene Evans (I)' (qv), _Fixed Bayonets! (1951)_ (qv) starring 'Richard Basehart' (qv) and Gene Evans, and _MASH (1970)_ (qv) with 'Donald Sutherland (I)' (qv), both the inspiration for _"M*A*S*H" (1972)_ (qv) and based on a book written by an in-theater MASH doctor.

The major Korean-made film released in the USA was _Taegukgi hwinalrimyeo (2004)_ (qv).

As a veteran of the Korean War, Sergeant Major Volkom would certainly have been aware of at least the first film, "Pork Chop Hill" (1959).

As an actor who has been in the business since 1962, 'Robert Forster (I)' (qv) himself may even have been aware of the Gregory Peck film.

) He also states the war "lost more men than 'Nam.

" Actually, it was around 2,000 less.

Regarding the smoke from the Cadillac's front tires, the car is a Cadillac Eldorado somewhere between a 1971 and 1978.

Beginning with the 1967 model year, all Eldorados were front wheel drive.

They shared the same drive train as their sister, the Oldsmobile Toronado.

When Connor first drives the Cadillac through the windows and down the hill the front right fender is dented, but a few seconds later there is no dent any more.

When Conner meets Vonda, he orders them both a drink.

As they talk, his glass is noticeably empty sitting on the bar, but a moment later he takes a drink and the glass is full again.

When Connor and Jenny are cleaning up the cake mess, Jenny is at one moment holding the bride, but the camera angle changes and she is suddenly holding the groom.

While Conner is taking pictures at the wedding we see the flash on the subjects in the scene, but there is no flash on the camera and no remote flash units are seen anywhere in the room.

Connor locks the girls in the Ford Expedition.

They seem to forget that they can still unlock the doors from the inside.

When young Connor and Jenny are shown together in 1982, he says his parents died a year later.

However, later in the movie his brother says Connor was 7 when his parents died which would have made he and Jenny 6 when they were on the swing and she gave him the camera.

The actors are clearly much older than 6.

Maybe 11 or 12.

During rehearsal, when the bride and groom are facing each other, they're told by Sergeant Volkom to turn 180 degrees.

They do however turn 90 degrees, facing the room (as they should).

Had they in fact turned 180 degrees they would of course be standing back to back instead.

When Jenny is trying to piece the cake back together while talking to Brad, the amount of frosting on her fingers changes during shots.

Sometimes they are completely covered, and other times there is hardly any frosting on them.

The subtitles represent the Olympic archer's name as Kako.

This common Japanese name is in fact spelled Keiko.

Melanie compares Connor to the Tin Man of _The Wizard of Oz (1939)_ (qv), saying he was born without a heart, implying that this was the Tin Man's condition.

However, the Tin Man's backstory (revealed in the book but not the film) explains that he was once an ordinary human, who had to be rebuilt as a "heartless" Tin Man after his body was destroyed in an industrial accident.

When Connor goes to his prom dance we can hear "The Safety Dance" by 'Men Without Hats' (qv) setting the action after 1982.

After the prom, Connor goes to with his uncle to a place where we can hear "Get Down Tonight" by 'KC & The Sunshine Band' (qv) (released in 1975).

Approximately two years later, Connor says "I got the new 'Poison (II)' (qv)," and shortly thereafter, "Nothin' But a Good Time" (released in May 1988) begins playing.

Therefore we can assume that the dance was in 1986 and there were no anachronisms present.

If Sarge fought in Korea, even assuming he was barely 18, he would be about 80 years old in 2009, more like the grandfather of the bride.

Instead he looks like he's in his early fifties, so maybe he was born around the time of the Korean War, but not old enough to have fought in it.

When Connor chases after Sarge and the girls down the hill in the gold Cadillac, a wireless earpiece can be seen in Connor's left ear.

When we see Jenny sitting on the swing, she should have left some footprints as she walked through the snow.

Loosely based on Dickens' "A Christmas Carol", only transported to the modern day and with the Scrooge character transformed from an elderly miser to an ageing Romeo, played by Matthew McConaghey. What can I say, typical rom-com, peopled with Christmas card thin characters, contrived plot which magically resolves itself by the obligatory happy ending, plenty of crass jokes and only a couple of smile-inducing ones (when a character literally introduces a montage sequence to Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time" and a neat reversal of the old Scrooge line "Is today Christmas?

GHOSTS OF GIRLFRIENDS PASTI am not a huge romantic comedy fan… but I don't mind Matthew McConaugheys films. He is actually quite funny.

Connor Mead (Matthew McConaughey) is a successful fashion photographer and a womanizer. Jenny Perotti (Jennifer Garner) is his childhood sweetheart, the one that got away.

Ghosts of girlfriends past starring Jennifer garner and Matthew Mconahey is actually a pretty cute Romantic comedy with good acting and funny lines of comedic dialogue. Emma Stone was absolutely hilarious in this movie!

Another romcom done by Matthew McConaughey before he hit puberty. There are some touching moments while the story unfolds but overall I'm not impressed at all.

This movie starts out incredibly rough. The first 30 minutes or so are really really bad, bad acting, grossly inappropriate and unnecessary.

Actually reasonably funny due to Matthew McConaughy's character delivering some pretty funny lines. Robert Forster, as always, fits his character and is enjoyable.

This wasnt good. I'll focus in on the dating sequence.

This movie has a great story line, less than 6/10 seems kind of unfair. Michael Douglas did an amazing job as Uncle Wayne, and is constantly cited by my friend for his wits.
