The Milky Way galaxy is depicted as a spiral galaxy, however it is actually a barred spiral galaxy.

In the test pilot scene, it is claimed that the F-35's service ceiling is 50,000 feet.

Its real service ceiling is 60,000 feet.

And exceeding the service ceiling doesn't cause an aircraft's engines to flame out like in the movie.

But none of this matters, since if they were testing the air superiority capabilities of the drones, they should have been testing them against an air superiority fighter like the F-22, not a multi-role strike fighter like the F-35.

Young Hal has bright blue eyes.

Adult Hal has brown eyes.

While being chased by Parallax, Hal flies from the Earth to the Sun via the Asteroid Belt; which lies between Mars and Jupiter, in completely the opposite direction from the Sun.

It's also a common error to portray the Asteroid Belt as being crowded, when it's in fact largely empty and hitting an asteroid is something that would require careful aiming as the asteroids are spread over such an enormous volume of space.

When senator or Hammond takes off in a helicopter at the party he is seen hovering above them and there is no effect of the air blowing in downward from the blades.

A hovering helicopter generates a large down force but in that scene you can hardly see a hair of any guests blowing.

As Hal Jordan goes into space away from Earth, being followed by Parallax, the Earth is in the background.

After Hal throws the satellite at Parallax, but before he enters the asteroids, in the right corner of the screen is the planet Neptune.

The "Great Dark Spot" is clearly visible.

When Abin Sur dies and Hal Jordan calls Tom Kalmaku to pick him up, Tom drives up towards the camera and opens the door.

The reflection of lighting equipment can be seen.

When the black SUV pulls into the government garage it is covered in rain.

Next medium wide shot shows dry polished truck.

Then back to wet again in next few shots.

When Tomar-Re first meets Hal he makes a point of mentioning that his "ring translator is functioning properly", suggesting that they are talking in different languages (as one might expect from different species!) but the ring is translating live.

Nonetheless, the animators clearly made some misguided effort to synchronize Tomar-Re's mouth movements (and that of the other members of the Corps) to the English "translation" ! When Hal and Sinestro are dueling on Oa, the Minigun that Hal creates ejects brass cartridge casings.

When Hal materializes the necklace for Carol's late birthday present, it's gone a couple of shots later.

- This is because items are only around as he is willing them.

They are not permanent and go away when he stops thinking about them.

When Hal goes out to drinks with Carol he leaves the lantern on lounge room table, but when he comes back from his first time on Oa the lantern is not on the table anymore.

When Hal and Carol are dancing in the bar, they start with Hal's right arm extended, a reverse of typical leading position.

Midway through their dance, he's leading with his left arm extended without their having switched.

It's not a secret that the major accusation towards the movie is the usage of extremely unrealistic and bad CGI. The costume is considered one of the worst in the history and this is said bearing a Batman suit with nipples (yes, that one wasn't computer generated, but it is 2011 and the budget floats around 200 mil).

I was looking forward to seeing "Green Lantern". I really do enjoy a good superhero movie and I have been a fan of the comic books for years.

I thought Green Lantern was an OK movie. But I do not feel it was as good as it could have been.

Ryan Reynolds is an obvious choice to play a cocky, womanising, daredevil pilot he oozes charisma and has great comic timing, the only two things required for such a role. Unfortunately, his turn as Hal Jordan – the first human to be inducted into the Green Lantern, an intergalactic force that keeps the universe safe – isn't gifted with a strong enough story.

This movie is the one of the most underrated superhero movies. It is really enjoyable.

CRAP! I've never read any of the comics.

Treated myself to this film earlier today, meant to see it sooner, watched it at the last cinema showing it, on the last session before it vanished. Glad I did!

The plot and the script are stupid. I'm not exaggerating, they are completely dumb.

Movie: The Green Lantern Realise Date: 17 June 2011 (UK)When I found out there was gong to be a film made based on the green lantern, I was filled with excitement. I have always enjoyed watching comic book to film remakes from Spider-man to Batman it didn't matter if it was made by DC comics or Marvel and this one did not disappoint.
