Errores

The puppy has obviously grown several weeks between its departure from a monastery in Japan and being found at a train station presumably less than a day after.

When Hachiko has moved in with Andy, Michael and Ronnie (still a baby), he is shown laying on the floor, while Ronnie collides with the dog repeatedly in his baby walker.

In the first shot showing the walker from the side, the baby is absent from his walker.

Cut to a master shot showing baby Ronnie in the walker, followed by another shot of the walker colliding with Hachi, similar to the first which shows now the baby's legs.

The Wilson's TV remote is an RCA universal DVD available remote that was not available at the time.

While the puppy Hachi travels from Japan locked in a crate, his collar disappears and then mysteriously reappears.

When Hachi digs under the fence to follow the professor he is clearly covered in mud as we see him on the other side of the fence, but when we see him on the platform he is clean again.

When Hachi brings the ball to Parker at the station, while Parker opens the door, the reflection of the camera is visible in the window of the door.

I will only say this that i m writing these words while tears in my eyes.i also an animal lover.

Waiting ten years for a love is nearly a lifetime for a dog. What made hachi so persistent, the warm smile on the first cold night at the station, or the years of careful companionship that followed.

Before I watched this movie all I knew was that it had an IMDb rating of 8.0, and I'd seen a one-line comment that called the movie "heartwarming".

I started to watch the movie with a great expectation...and i can assure you that i got more than that....

How bitter can people be? After reading some negative reviews here, I just felt I had to say something.

This movie was dull, lethargically paced and tailored to those who are the dog equivalent of a "cat lady." I don't hate dogs, I generally hate the owners who won't properly discipline their pet.

I am at a loss for words over the angry people that have given this such a poor rating. Have you ever had a closer relationship with a dog, like this??

Hachi: A Dog's Tale is a heartwarming story about a man and his best friend. Based on a true story from the year 1925 in Tokyo, Japan, this film won't leave one eye dry.

Hachi A Dog's Tale (2009) : Brief ReviewEPIC !!! The longest sobbing i ever had for any film.
