At the end when it is raining, it is clear that Zero is riding on Squid's shoulders, but in the next shot Zero is standing.

At the end when it's raining, Squid is on Armpit's shoulders, but in the next shot, he has Zero on his back and is spinning around.

Before X-Ray moves Stanley up in the water line, Stanley's hands are in his pockets.

In the next shot, he is holding his hands in front of him.

When Caveman and Zero are sitting in the hole with Kissing Kate's loot and the lizards, you can see a bright, neon-green X on Caveman's suit which is a mark for the lizards to be placed.

In the rec room, when Zig Zag says that Armpit broke the TV, his orange suit is wrapped around his waist/completely on/round his waist between shots.

In the end when they are all watching the commercial for Sploosh, Zero wet/dry/wet between shots.

On the day Stanley is digging his first hole, Zero finishes first and his goggles disappear between shots.

The ramp Zero uses to drag the box out of the hole appears suddenly.

Moments before the hole had been high sided all around.

Towards the end of the movie when Zero and Stanley climb out of the lizard-infested hole, Zero is carrying the trunk and the Warden is trying to grab it from him.

In the background you can see two crew vans.

When they first show Camp Greenlake, you can see the hole they dug for the Kissin' Kate Barlow lipstick tube, which hadn't happened in the movie yet.

The angles of sunlight throughout the film change from phases of mid-day to afternoon/evening/morning constantly between shots in the "hole field".

When Zero is running away from camp, the Warden has her hands on her hips.

In the next shot, her hands were relaxed at her sides.

Near the end of the movie, when all of the kids are playing in the rain, you can see the shadow of the device controlling the rain on the ground.

When Stanley is fighting his hat is alternately off/on between shots.

Kissing Kate Barlow dies by getting bitten in the arm by a yellow-spotted lizard.

Afterwards, in a shot from the side, when the lizard crawls further up her arm, you can see that there are no bite marks where the lizard bit her just seconds earlier.

Green trees continually appear and disappear around the camp throughout the movie.

When Zero runs off to get another shovel to help Stanley dig the last hole, the sun is rising.

However, when he reaches the shovel shed, it is dark.

When Sam is pursued on the lake, a plastic buoy can be seen behind him and his rowboat in one shot.

During the group discussion with Pandanski, when they're talking about animals, one of the kids is facing the camera, and talking, and his mouth continues moving even when he stops speaking.

When Dr.

Pendanski is hit with the shovel by Zero, it's clear he falls and lands on his stomach.

In the very next shot, he's lying on his back.

When Squid gets pushed by Mr.

Sir in the lunch room, we see Magnet walk to the table, then sit down.

In the next shot, he is back up and then sits down again.

When Armpit is dancing, when they first walk out of the building, Squid puts his hat on.

In the next shot, his hat is off and he puts it back on again.

When Stanley is first introduced to Magnet and Zigzag, Magnet walks away, and says, "What have I told you about putting that thing right there, man?" but his lips don't move.

When Stanley's grandfather is talking to him at the dinner table he has two band-aids on his face, one on the chin and one on the forehead, but later when they go back to that scene, both band-aids are gone.

When Stanley is in the bus going to Camp Greenlake, in the bird's eye view of the bus the dust trail ends because the green screen only went so far.

When Kate and the children are standing around Sam, the girl in the pink dress with red hair jumps from our right to standing in front of Kate.

When Kate points her gun at Trout Walker towards the end of the movie, her thumb goes from gripping the gun to sticking up between shots.

Flipped shotAfter Kate tries to get help from the sheriff and he tries to kiss her, she runs out into the town.

The sign of the store that she runs past ("Guns & Powders") is printed backwards.

Near the end of the movie, Stanley's attorney says "Earl, would you please get me Hector's file.

" When she says "Earl" her lips are not moving.

When Squid is telling Zigzag that he stole some Graham Crackers, his lips don't match up with the words.

Trees, foliage and lawned areas are visible in numerous exterior shots in and around the camp, despite the supposed complete absence of rain for 110 years.

When Zero and Stanley are digging their last hole, they go in a hole that is of equal height on all sides.

When they are digging, in the background you can see a ramp that has been dug with steps going up to ground level.

There is no way two boys could have carved those steps out of the dirt in that amount of time.

While the bus that Stanley is riding is going through the abundance of holes, the holes are on both sides of the road but when looking out from inside the bus all you see are shrubs.

When Stanley has finished digging his first hole, in the overhead shot, you can see his shovel on its side on the ground - and his canteen is not there.

When he climbs out, his canteen has suddenly appeared next to his shovel.

When Kate is running out of the police office after the school burning incident, as she runs past one of the buildings the sign on it is backwards.

The time-lapse motion of stars during night scenes is incorrect for Texas.

They arc from right to left, but it should be left to right if looking at the southern horizon, or they should rotate *around* the North Star (counter clock-wise) if looking at the north horizon.

After Stanley asks Zero if he still wants to learn how to read, the shot of Squid shrugging is flipped (you can tell because the stripes on his hat are on the wrong side).

When Stanley gets hit on the head with the shoes at the beginning of the movie, you can clearly see Stanley's face grimace just before the shoes "unexpectedly" hit him.

When Stanley steals Mr Sir's truck and turns the ignition, Mr Sir turns towards the truck quickly, and begins to move towards it.

In the next shot, we see him facing away for a second, then turns his head to the truck again.

During the first dig scene, Zero finishes digging his hole before anyone else.

As he jumps out of his hole (heading back to the tent or 'wreck' room), he has his goggles on.

In the next shot (only seconds later), he passes by the group and his goggles have completely disappeared.

Zero asks Stanley about the "y" sound and pronounces the name of Sam's boat "Marya Lo", seconds later before Stanley told him the proper pronunciation, Zero goes on to pronounce Mary the correct way.

Sir says that if one gets bitten by the yellow-spotted lizard, you die slowly.

Although when Kissing Kate Barlow gets bit by one, she dies almost instantly.

She is seen to be very weak and the poison was able to work faster.

Trout Walkers gold tooth is on the left side of his mouth in the school house when Kate is giving the adults reading class.

Later in the movie it's on the right side of his mouth.

During the fight, Ricky hits Stanley and he clearly falls onto firm ground.

When Zero helps him up after the fight however he pulls him out of a hole.

The American Flag is on the wrong side of the judge, as it is accorded the place of honor, always positioned to its own right, or the speaker's right and the audience's left, according to the United States Flag Code.

After Stanley digs his first hole, he shows severe blisters on his hands.

When he is leaving the showers after he gets back, Mr.

Sir tells Stanley not to move while he shoots a yellow-spotted lizard.

When Mr.

Sir tells Stanley not to move, Stanley holds his hands up, palms out, with no blisters or damage of any sort.

Later, Stanley reveals his blisters from the first day.

When Zero talks for the first time in the dining hall, Armpit is in the background leaning over looking at him.

Armpit starts talking while he is still in the background not moving his mouth.

In the next shot he is sitting straight up.

When Stanley is filling up his water jug for the first time, he looks over to Armpit and says, "Thanks Armpit.

" In the next shot, Armpit throws his hand out and says, "Man, whatever," but his mouth never moves.

Watched this film many of times, every time it's just as exciting as the first. A great film to watch with good company.

The film 'Holes' is an enthralling film based on the novel by Louis Sachar. It is a film that people would only understand if they decipher the underlying meaning.

I get it, it's a movie for kids based on a book written for kids. But come on, that's no excuse for dumbing-down the script, the editing and the performance of the actors (which feels downright lazy and unenthusiastic from Weaver and Voight).

This is a great movie. I remember liking this as a kid, and I am impressed by how much I still like it as an adult.

Holes The movie Holes is a fun movie to watch with teenage kids. It can teach teenagers life lesson about making choices in life.
