When Nick Angel has thrown Michael into the freezer in the supermarket, there is a close-up on Michael's face.

You can clearly see his real teeth behind his prosthetic teeth.

When Nicholas and Danny are observing the locals from their patrol car, we see Danny finish his cornetto down to the chocolate tip twice.

The seats in Simon Skinner's light blue Jaguar XK convertible alternate between a pre-2000 model year and a post-2000 model year car - the difference being adjustable headrests.

The headrests are adjustable when Skinner is present at the Blower-Draper "crash", but the seats are one-piece seats when Skinner drives past Angel after Merchant's death.

In a shot preceeding Nick's questioning everyone's eating chocolate cake, Danny Butterman can be seen eating a bit of cake.

In the next shot in which he can be seen, there is more cake on his plate.

When PC Doris Thatcher comes in bringing PC Danny Butterman his birthday cake she is wearing fake boobs over her sweater, seconds later the fake boobs are gone even though she is holding the cake with both hands.

When Nick is fighting all of the villagers his red ammo belts appear and dissapear between shots.

When Sergeant Angel runs up to the top of the church tower as he opens the door you see the truncated stone pillar on his left, but in the subsequent helicopter shot the pillar is missing.

When Nicholas Angel and Simon Skinner are fighting in the model village, Nicholas grabs Skinner's hand, then Nicholas's hand is on Skinner's wrist the next shot, then back to his hand.

During the introduction whilst Sergeant Angel's life in the police is summarised, he says that he was stabbed by "a man dressed as Father Christmas," and when he knocks on the door, you see a scar on his right hand, with which he is knocking, but the flashback of him being stabbed shows "Father Christmas" stabbing him in the left hand.

When Angel is in Danny's car about to return to Sandford, the cut on his left cheek is missing.

When Sgt.

Angel first approaches his room at the Swan hotel, the camera lingers momentarily on the room door's prominent sign which reads "CASTLE SUITE".

Angel hangs up his jacket on a hook, but seconds later he decides to leave.

Angel removes his jacket from the hook and opens the door to leave - and the "CASTLE SUITE" sign is gone.

When the officers are pushing the shopping carts to ram the meat counter, it shows Doris and Sgt.

Fisher standing off to the side providing covering fire and when the officers pushing the carts go by they fall in behind.

In some subsequent shots Doris and Fisher aren't there and in another they are just falling in behind when they should have already been there.

When Nicholas Angel passes by the tow truck during his morning jog, the two employees in the truck nod at him.

However, in the next shot, you can clearly see the driver and passenger seats are empty.

In the car chase at the end of the movie, Frank Butterman takes out the driver's side door to Danny's police car.

In the following cuts, the exterior shots show the door missing, but the interior shots show the door still intact.

When the police officers are outside the supermarket preparing to storm it, it is clear that one of them is holding a bolt action rifle with the bolt opened.

When Nicholas is leaving the station with all the guns in the end, he turns to talk to the Sgt.

in the window and both of the shotguns on his back don't have triggers.

The position of the torch (flashlight) Sergeant Angel is holding after he briefly holds Danny hostage changes, from his left hand as we see the back view of him running through the arch to his right hand as we see the front view.

When Nick arrives in Sandford, the church tower clock shows the time as being 9.

00pm, but the next shot of his mobile phone shows the time as 20:52.

After Frank gets away from Danny at the model village near the end of the film and takes Danny's Police car, he drives the car through a fence into a very large, empty field.

After the swan attacks Frank in the police car, it shows Danny and Nick watching from the model village as Frank's car careens into a tree in a much smaller field.

For some reason they filmed this sequence in two separate locations.

Sgt.

Angel is meant to be the best of the best so far as Police Officers go yet he is often seen with his handcuffs the wrong way round.

If he removed his handcuffs as he has them he wouldn't be able to apply them as the fixed double bar would be facing the suspect's wrist as opposed to the movable single bar.

When Danny and Nicholas are in the pub at the end of the village shootout, we can clearly see the lack of bullet holes in Nicholas' bullet proof vest, after been shot by the Reverend.

When Angel goes to a crime scene to talk to his girlfriend 'Cate Blanchett' (qv), who is a Crime Scene Investigator (CSI), the room is packed with CSIs, at least 8 of them.

In real life there would not be this many in a small room like this and, as 'Nick Frost (I)' (qv) points out during the DVD commentary, it could even spoil the physical evidence they're trying to collect.

When Angel is talking to Danny just after defeating Michael they are sit in front of a chiller which contains ice-cream, this should be in a freezer as the chiller wouldn't keep the ice-cream frozen.

When Danny and Nicholas are trying to put the pieces together, just before Frank enters the room, Danny says "Maybe they were all accidents.

" In response to this, Nicholas puts his arms on the desk and rests his head on them.

When Nicholas gives a small laugh a few moments later, it changes to a close up of him and his arms are at his sides with his head directly on the desk.

The change of shot was very quick, with no time for Nicholas to move his arms.

When Nick arrests Danny for drink driving he simply throws him in a cell and leaves him to be dealt with in the morning when he has sobered up.

In reality he would have had to book him in with the custody Sergeant, establishing his identity and taking mugshots, fingerprints etc before making him take a drink drive breath test to see if he was over the limit.

When Nick and Danny confiscate the vast arsenal of unlicensed weapons from the farmer they don't arrest him despite the fact that possession of guns such as pistols in the UK would be highly illegal and earn the man many years in prison.

When the kids spray-paint the lenses of the CCTV cameras, the CCTV monitors show the colour of the paint that was sprayed on.

In fact, the monitors would show only the colour black because no light would be reflecting back from the painted surfaces.

When Nicholas fights Michael in the hotel room, the monkey is first facing Angel before he throws it, but then it appears turned to Michael when Michael catches it.

As PC Butterman falls to the ground having crashed through the first fence panel he encounters in the post-supermarket shoplifting chase, the crew can clearly be heard laughing in the back ground.

After PC Danny Butterman is shot by Tom Weaver and lands on the floor, Mr Weaver falls into the evidence room and sets off the mine.

The Police station then gets blown up.

But when Sgt.

Angel finds Danny after the explosion rather than Danny being covered with debris he is lying on a pile of debris and not on the floor where he started.

When Nicholas and Danny stop Martin and Eve for speeding, Eve is playing with her hair when Martin says, "I'm playing the eponymous hero.

" In the next shot, from the front, both her arms are by her sides nowhere near her hair.

In the final scene where Frank's gun is pointed at Nicholas, Danny grabs it, but when changed to another angle, he grabs it again.

This is similar to the scene where Nicholas is in the prison cell and turns around to look at Danny, but from another angle, he turns his head a second time.

In the final car chase, the green screen is visible in many of the shots of Nicholas and Danny's car.

In the opening montage when Nicholas gets stabbed in the hand by Father Christmas, the knife is non-reflective rubber.

After Leslie Tiller is killed with the shears, Nicholas starts chasing after the hooded man, just as the hooded man jumps over a table a blue crash mat is visible on the floor.

The swan makes a honking noise, like a goose, although it is a mute swan.

When Nicholas is claiming that Simon Skinner was responsible for Tim Messenger's death, he says that he couldn't possibly have had the strength to push the pillar off.

Therefore the wind could not have pushed it either so it couldn't have been an accident.

I absolutely LOVED "Hot Fuzz", it's reminiscent of the quaint afternoon dramas that OAPs watch (such as "Heartbeat", "Midsomer Murders" and "Inspector Morse") but with insane action, comically over-the-top violence and curse words a-plenty thrown into the mix. The film is chock-full of fantastic British actors who all give hysterically funny performances, the script is surprisingly intelligent for a film that's this hilarious and the action sequences are both bonkers and thrilling.

I went by the 7.9 rating and watched the movie.

Nicolas Angel (Simon Pegg), who is outstanding police officer in London. Which Nicolas unintentionally makes others police officers looks painfully bad.

I love anything that Simon Pegg is associated with and this is a must !! Loved Shawn of the dead and Paul also.

There is still something about many British-made films which makes them disappointingly – well, British. I'm not talking about the 'British' films which are, in fact U.

This film did not get too much play in the USA and I count myself fortunate that I'm close enough to the Canadian border to get these occasional gems broadcast from the CBC. Lucky indeed that the CBC is part of my cable package.

I get that some people would find this movie enjoyable and even funny but for me it's just boring dry humor, felt like a waste of time to be honest.

I have seen this movie more than a hundred times and I still love it.

Nothing is in the movie. Just some jokes r there.
