When real Sandy is talking on his cell phone with the credit card company, there is no rear view mirror.

When he is pulled over and taken out of the car, there is now a rear view mirror When Sandy & Sandy pull over at the underpass while in Florida, overhead signs for Georgia highways are present on the over-passing highway.

This same signs are also seen during the car chase with the Skiptracer.

Georgia State Patrol cruisers are not of a design that the real Georgia State Patrol uses.

When Sandy stops for gas in Denver, and finds his credit cards declined, the gas station pumps have three choices of octane87, 89, and 92.

Since Denver is at an altitude of 5280 feet (Mile High), the octane choices of all local gas stations are 85, 87, and 91 octane.

The knot in Jason Bateman's tie isn't identical in the shots in the office at the very end of the movie.

When Sandy stops for gas and see his card has been declined, he stops at pump 8.

When he goes in to speak with the clerk, he says he is on pump 5.

When Sandy is pumping gas in St.

Louis the gas pump's readout never moves from "$0.

00" and "0.

000 gallons" When Sandy and Diana frantically jump in the car and drive away from the home invaders, the rear view background settings change inconsistently between shots as they're driving and talking.

In the beauty salon, the Skiptracer threatened the hairdresser by saying the blue disinfectant was highly flammable.

Barbacide is not flammable and comes in concentrate that is mixed with mostly water.

I have no idea why people would rate this movie so low...Sometimes I seriously feel that it has to do with American culture being dumbed down and people have become only responsive to movies filled with crass and foul topics.

I watched this at a friends house so I couldn't ask for it to be turned off. Boy, I wish I could have.

The lead pair totally pull their characters off, with Melissa doing all the way through by what I meant slightly gross. Jason Bateman is fine as the troubled family man.

Review: This movie starts off well and then it seems to go downhill. The storyline is pretty ridiculous, but the whole point is that your not supposed to take it that seriously.

I just can't Grasp why people find melissa funny. Her humor is really low, bad, terrible, immature .

The story line deals with the hot topic of identity theft, which is no laughing matter, but makes for good comedy. There were so many things about this film that we enjoyed, that we'd like to recommend it, but cannot.

I saw through almost an hour of this movie before I couldn't justify wasting my time anymore. I don't think I've laughed once.

It's fair to say I don't have high expectations of Melissa McCarthy films and halfway through Identity Thief I was as disappointed with myself for watching it as I was with the cheap jokes and cheesy action scenes. However, there are some sweet moments towards the end and it wraps up quite nicely despite being at least twenty minutes too long.

According to IMDb, Identity Thief is supposed to be a comedy so could someone please tell me what was funny? Why on earth would a nice family businessman, a) give his personal information to an unsolicited caller on the phone (NO ONE does that these days!
