When Tommy is mailing Microsoft, he's using a PC, but the full-screen pictures of the email client are of Apple Mail.

In one of the interview segments, Phil Fish states that he got his first Nintendo Entertainment System with a triple game pack (Mario Bros / Tetris / Zelda) when he was 4 years old in "Christmas, 1998".

This would mean he began work on Fez at age 15.

In the same segment, he displays a game that he made with his father "in 1993".

Given the release dates for the NES and the three games mentioned, it's likely that he meant to say that he was 4 years old in 1988, not 1998.

A very well put together and intriguing documentary, no matter if you do not enjoy the subject matter regardless, for a director's first debut the movie was very well done, and looked like he had been making films for decades, and if you didn't appreciate the amount of effort that indie game developers put into there work, you should after watching it. Highly Recommended.

**Includes some minor spoilers. will not spoil your experience**I watched the documentary last night and was just simply blown away about the people, their life-philosophy and the motivation to push forward and create something new.

People are reviewing it as garbage, but giving it 5+ stars? Cmon, little bit of logic here.

I don't know how to react to this intriguing and engrossing documentary. We are voyeurs into the lives of a few Indie game computer programmers who produce and distribute their products alone, as against the vast corporation produced games we are more familiar with.

I just can't describe what this movie is about it's just amazing and it's weird because it's a documentary. I don't really like that many documentaries but this is an exception simply because it's awesome.

I consider myself to be a pretty dedicated gamer and have always been fascinated in both the playing and the development of video games. This beautifully shot, fantastically produced documentary has taught me so much about what goes on beyond the pixels and programming.

The game developing process. What goes into it?

The movie which is mainly a documentary about the programmers who got nothing to loloo and everything thing to win in the industry . I am here saying here nothing to loose as they don't get a big budget and worked hard under there limited financial condition to stand up with there great projects .

"Indie Game: The Movie" is a great movie for a more mature audience. The reasons to watch this movie is the fact that its quite the inspirational movie.
