When Gertie is in bed, she is holding her mother's photo upright.

In the next shot the picture is flat on her chest.

Ollie rips the buttons off his blue shirt as he gets into the costume for the Sweeney Todd skit.

After the skit, the buttons are sewn back on and now he isn't wearing the white t-shirt underneath.

When Ollie Trinke is checking out at the video store, the VHS boxes behind Maya change between shots.

While Gertrude is putting on her earrings during her fight with Ollie, she leaves the room without having put the left earring on.

In the next shot of her in the next room, there is an earring in that ear.

The neck on 'Will Smith (I)' (qv)'s turtle neck when Ollie is talking to him at the office.

When Ollie Trinke exits the Holland Tunnel circa 1995, three American flags are suspended over the tunnel entrance.

These flags were not put up until after 11 September 2001.

While Ollie stands by baby Gertie's crib, the baby is alternately sleeping/awake between shots.

In the final scene in the bar, Ollie is clean-shaven while talking to Pop, but after he dances with Maya for a while, he's got a definite 5 o'clock shadow.

In Ollie's office, there is a poster in the background for SongsOhia's "Ghost Tropic" album, released in 2000.

The scene takes place before _Independence Day (1996)_ (qv) was released in 1996, before SongsOhia had even released their debut album.

When it is time for Gertie to perform at the show, the teacher comes out from behind the curtain twice.

When Ollie is going upstairs to give his baby daughter a bottle, he tries to feed the baby by putting the bottle top near the baby's mouth, then he lays right next to the baby, then it disappears.

In the first scene, at the Christmas party, Santa Claus is sitting on the throne in the middle of the room with a girl on his lap.

When Ollie walks up there seconds later (in the next shot) they are both gone.

When Ollie feeds his daughter when he first moves in with his father, there is milk running down her cheek.

He then places the bottle next to her.

In the next shot, there is no trace of milk on her cheek.

When going back from school in the Batmobile, the equipment is reflected in a window of one of the passed houses.

After their argument, Ollie goes upstairs and sits on Gertie's bed.

He finds out that his daughter sleeps with her mother's pictures.

Ollie picks up the picture from Gertie's hands, and after she wakes up and they speak, Ollie gives the photo back twice.

Gertie's gravestone indicated she died (in childbirth) on June 1, yet she was extremely pregnant in the scene where she was preparing to attend the Video Music Awards, which are held in late summer/early fall.

Ollie and Gertie should have been preparing for the MTV Movie Awards, or else Gertie delivered about 6 months overdue.

Ollie cautions Gertie to flush the toilet, but never mentions that she should wash her hands after using it.

For a protective father like he is, this makes little sense.
