I've not even watched Man on the Moon but I certainly will after watching this documentary. Blown away by Jim Carey's performance.
Method acting is a complicated beast, certainly there is no 'right' way of acting but few techniques are as controversial as Stanislavski's system of so-called 'method' acting has become. Some of my favorite actors like Oldman, Daniel Day-Lewis, and De Niro became known for using the method acting technique and certainly it has produced some groundbreaking performances.
Jim Carrey is a great comedian-he is basically the new and improved version of Jerry Lewis-having said that it must be exhausting for the adults in Hollywood dealing with the overgrown children like Carrey, Mickey Rourke, Depp, etc.etc.
Based on the title and premise of this movie, I tuned in hoping to enjoy an in-depth glimpse into two comedic geniuses at their best. What I got was a 1.
The guy behind the camera talking to jim was Andy. Why would Andy announce he'd fooled us again?
A great document of a man who is suffering. What happens if you aren't content after achieving all your dreams?

I always thought Jim Carrey was really annoying person until i saw this movie i realised he was even more. But still a good watch where u get in the mind behind the annoying character he is and why he doesnt gaf about anyone which is also interesting,in a Way.
Until 'Man on the Moon' came out, I had no idea who Andy Kaufman was. I was, and always will be, a Jim Carrey fan, and I loved the movie.
