John Wick

With such good reviews for this nonsense it only shows the dumbification of movie audiences nowadays. No need for plot, no need for characters, no need for a story.

This is more than just a revenge movie and anyone that says the story is laughable needs to try and write a movie themselves. A man who was loved by only one person, who was a loner, hired killer and loyal to his boss.

Before I get started, I will explain my reasoning on giving 'John Wick' a 7/10, then explain each of the reasons in greater detail. 1st off, I never give a film a perfect 10/10 no matter what film it is, and I do this because there cannot be a perfect movie.

This movie is lazy, formulaic and completely lacking in originality or flair.There is no character development.

Keanu Reeves isn't really known for his prowess in acting but what he lacks in that department, he more than makes up for with his stunts. Do not go into this movie expecting a remarkable story.

You could have written this on the back of a napkin... 'Guy's dog is murdered guy goes mental, efficiently killing those responsible.

John Wick (Keanu Reeves) has been recently bereaved and as a last gift to him his late wife has given him a dog (presumably so that he won't be lonely and so that he has something to remember her by). A short while after a gang approach Wick with the intention of purchasing his car.

John Wick did a great job of bringing back a proper action packed movie! Don't be fooled there is no storyline at all.
