Jurassic World

It feels that the movie has been targeted for family audiences – there is nearly no graphic violence in the movie which is a bit strange considering there are hungry (and angry?) dinosaurs.

The best way to watch any Jurassic Park film in my opinion is not as a sci-fi, or fantasy or adventure film but as a disaster movie: like in any disaster movie we know what the source of the catastrophe will be and the entertainment is therefore twofold firstly how exactly will things go from "nought to sixty" and what exact mayhem will be unleashed!!'Jurassic World' services both these requirements perfectly well and produces an overall satisfactory disaster movie for its troubles.

Movie's title should have been: "Dinosaur breaks out an kills stuff #4"Jurassic Park 1, 2, 3 were all very good (especially for their time), so when this movie (Jurassic Park 4) was announced after so many years, I was dubious, but Colin Trevorrow (director) did a great job.The movie has tonnes of action, same as the previous films had, and it followed almost exactly the same formula as the previous films: Stupid humans cause a dinosaur to break out and go on a kill-rampage.

So the park has opened (again) with the main star being another (bigger/nastier) T-Rex (again) with a clutch of Velociraptors in a supporting role (again). There's a couple of annoying kids (again) being chased (again) while others are trying to unsuccessfully stop the 'T-Rex' (again) whilst a splinter group are using the situation for their own financial gain (again)!

I voted 5/10 just only for movie effect and the story. This movie was on screen at 2015 with all obsolete knowledge about the dinosaurs.

I have many times wondered if the first Jurassic Park seemed so good to me the first time I watched because I was a kid and easily excited or because it was fundamentally good for every audience. I think that partially both reasoning are true.

Chris Pratt brings a lot to this one, lol! He and Howard make great leads together.

I almost turned this film off during the first 20 minutes. The formulaic cotton-candy intro was a bit too much to stomach.
