Léon is pure film-making, outstanding just as it is hypnotic just as it is out and out entertaining. Known as The Professional to others, Luc Besson's debut English language film captures the essence of evil on screen just as it does the potential hope other individuals may carry amidst all the gloom and depression in one of cinema's favourite down and out cities: New York.

I hadn't heard much about this movie, so I really went out on a limb watching it. But sometimes it really pays off.

It was an absolutely brilliant film, BUTTTTTTTT it just gets incredibly creepy and uncomfortable at times regarding the little girl, and that completely lets it down for me. It's such a shame.

This is a very good drama/action movie. It stars Jean Reno a great french actor who is very good in this movie.

I never would have guessed it'd be that good. It was hard to tell who was good.

This movie has so many levels to it any description doesn't do it justice. The juxtapositions of what assassins should be concerned with, what little girls should be protected from, what evil men do to create chaos in this world, .

I was actually surprised when I realised that the plot was not very unique or different but was still engaging somehow. I didn't like it the best and neither I say it's a must watch but definitely recommended if you ask me.

There are few modern films that can survive the test of time but this is one of them. I remember watching this when I was a kid and even today I still love to rewatch it.
