In the final scene, we see the two survivors fly off in their helicopter.

We know that the helicopter is scheduled for 8:00 AM and that the island they're on is off the US east coast.

Still, the helicopter flies into the sun in the final shot.

If the sun is rising, they are flying in the wrong direction.

If the sun is setting, they are flying at the wrong time.

After collecting ammo in the morgue Rafe's gun keeps switching between being a Glock 17 and an Beretta 92FS Towards the end, when Vince is in the elevator, his gun once again switches between being a Glock and a Beretta.

His gun actually should be the Glock.

When the last guy is shot at the swimming pool, he falls with his side towards the pool.

The next shot is taken from inside the pool and we see him fall face forward in it.

When Gabe is held captive, the handcuffs disappear and reappear between shots.

After J.

dies they carry him on a bier out of the house.

At this time Nicole is holding a gun in her hand and Bobby is carrying a thermal imager.

But they weren't supposed to bring weapons and don't have access to thermal imagers and firearms until they break into the (restricted) support area of the island.

Just after the boat incident, it is supposed just after 11:30.

However, right before the scene of Sara stitching up Lucas' arm, we see a clock number flip from "00" to "01".

Sara then looks at a clock and it's 11:40.

When Bobby takes out the starter of the tube-light, the tube-light goes off.

The starter only serves to start the light and makes no contribution to its continued operation.

When the team enters the main building on the island for the first time there is an overhead shot in which an entire sound crew holding a boom mic is visible on a balcony in the lower right-hand corner of the screen.

When J.

and his partner are driving past a house, then stop and back up, a tow line is visible pulling the car backwards When the guy in the end gets shot he bleeds out of his neck.

The next shot, when he gets out of the water, his neck shows no harm.

Even though his words are, "I even got your bullet in my neck.

" Just as Rafe and Bobby are about to enter the restaurant, the CCTV camera is seen again and the cameraman can be seen reflected in the camera's lens.

During the underwater shootout at the end of the film, the semi-automatic pistols used would not cycle the rounds as shown.

The guns would fire underwater, but after the first shot the guns would jam because there would not be enough pressure generated to overcome the water pressure and fully eject the spent cartridge.

A second shot would not be possible until the jam is manually cleared.

In the scene after they first arrive on the island, they are doing the bet with the Rubix Cube.

When Bobby or Lucas looks at the watch, it says SAT on it.

That is supposed to be Friday night.

They are investigating the crime scene Saturday morning.

They had just arrived there and are settling in.

During the DNA test sequence, the visuals on the progress meter for the "DNA sampling machine" read sample amplfication, rather than sample amplification.

Towards the end when Gabe handcuffs his chair to the table, it shows Vince shaking his leg when he is supposed to be paralyzed from the waist down.

When Rafe and the others are drinking coffee, Rafe's coffee mug disappears and reappears between shots.

When Bobby solves the Rubik's cube he claims it took him 1 minute and 45 seconds when in reality it took him 2 minutes and 7 seconds to solve it.

When Bobby is talking to Jen after making the bet with Lucas, he disappears and reappears as Rafe is profiling the man at the bar.

In the scene with the bloody numbers on the windows, each set of numbers is supposed to continuously repeat itself on each of the windows.

However, on the window that reads 299,792,458 there is a mistake above this number the first time it shows you the window.

It reads 892,792,458.

When J.

and Nicole are kissing in the shower they switch places all of a sudden.

The CCTV camera shown in the film has no cables coming from the cable entry glands at the back of the housing, nor is the mount it is on a cable-concealed bracket, thus the camera would not be powered or capable of transmitting footage.

Additionally, the housing and bracket shown is not a PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) telemetry housing and thus would not be able to rotate side to side.

The elevator in the building is showing the Dutch sign for Ground floor (B for Begane grond).

Liquid nitrogen is never stored in a pressurized vessel as depicted in the film.

Before and after Rafe Perry (Will Kemp) dies and is lying in the morgue he is carrying a Beretta 92FS in his shoulder holster.

When Vince Sherman (Clifton Collins, Jr.

) enters the morgue to get an extra magazine for his handgun from Rafe's body, Rafe's weapon changes to a Glock 17, the same that Vince is carrying.

At the end Lucas is shot in the top of his head and falls over in the water.

When he's in closeup, just as he is about to tip over, his arms are down his body.

Then in the next shot from the water surface, he actually falls in the water and his arms are raised above his head like he's diving in.

Being dead he would not put his hands up in the air.

Towards the end of the movie, Sara and Gabe are standing on the beach as the helicopter approaches.

It can be seen that they are standing very close to the water.

In the next shot from the opposite side, they are suddenly standing at a considerable distance from the water.

At the end Lucas is shot in the top of his head and falls over in the water.

When he's in closeup, just as he is about to tip over, his arms are down his body.

Then in the next shot from the water surface, he actually falls in the water and his arms are raised above his head like he's diving in.

If LL Cool J is in a film it means that acting skills are optional. The rest of the film requires you to believe that someone had the remarkable ability to set all the events up knowing the script in advance.

"Mind hunters" is a thriller based on idea from famous Agatha Christie book. Ten people are left on isolated island .

Overblown contraptions furthering unfortunate contrivance. Before the end of this movie I hated everyone in it.

Mindhunters is an And Then There Were None type story about FBI trainees trapped on an island where one of them is a serial killer killing the others off in a series of Rube Goldberg machines so ludicrous they make Final Destination look restrained. Mindhunters is not a film you rent for a good time.

A group of FBI serial killer profilers is sent to a mock town on an uninhabited island for training, only to discover that one of them is an actual serial killer.Let me start by saying that this film is as dumb as a sack of rocks.

Really good and fun to watch, it really aged nicely. Actors are great, the story, characters, plot twists, great really.

The elephant in the room are the inconsistencies in the plot. It takes away from the movie as it gives the impression that it was aiming at realism.

Director Renny Harlin is very much a paracinematic man, and his particular brand of style fits perfectly in the early 2000s aesthetic of excess. High concept thrillers such as Speed rely on an exponentially thrilling pace.

Warning - contains minor spoilersWhen I first heard about this movie, it seemed to be very interesting, in part because of Val Kilmer and Chris Slater, but also because it seemed to have an interesting story. But now that I've watched it, I must say that I regret ever having done so.
