Goof submissions relating to what Pre-Cogs can or cannot do, are not being accepted.

Since they are an imaginary creation, they can do whatever the filmmakers say they can do, even when their abilities are apparently contradictory.

Signs advertise an election to be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2054.

22 April 2054 will be a Wednesday.

Shots from the outside of Lara's cottage show the windows on the front open, however as Agatha is walking around inside, behind the same windows, they appear closed.

The jacket that Agatha is holding, disappears and reappears on her shoulder during the car journey.

As Anderton approaches Crow, he has his gun drawn.

Then we see him from a different angle and he draws his (already drawn, as far as we know) gun.

When Anderton is being chased through the alleyway, the hole cut in his leather jacket for his safety harness is clearly visible when he is at the top of the fire-escape.

After John's chase in the Lexus, a crouching crewmember in a white shirt is reflected in the car door as it opens.

In the alley where the police are attempting to subdue Anderton, he takes a sick stick and pokes one of the policemen who vomits immediately, but the vomit is coming from "below" his mouth - the "vomit tube" is mis-positioned on the left side of the actor's face.

Safety diver visible in the upper right-hand corner of the screen when Anderton is in the pool holding his breath.

When Anderton tumbles into the yoga class after jumping from his car, the Asian yoga student in the green leotard is flat down on her chest.

In the next shot, the same yoga student is up on her hands.

When Danny Witwer is shot, a blood pack is visible under his shirt.

Lamar shoots Danny Witwer in the head (although shot not actually shown, so can only presume), in subsequent shots of Lamar on the phone with Lara, with Danny's body slumped over in the lower right of the frame his head is intact with no signs of blood from the second shot anywhere.

When Anderton is in the park looking for Howard Marks' house, the merry-go-round behind him is not moving.

A couple shots later, the merry-go-round is moving in the foreground.

When Anderton confronts and then shoots Leo Crow, Agatha is crawling off the bed and takes most of the pictures off the bed onto the floor with her.

Later, when Witwer and the PreCrime team are studying the crime scene, the pictures are back on the bed.

It is unlikely that either Anderton or Agatha would have stopped to put the pictures back on the bed before leaving, and no policeman worth his salt would have disturbed a crime scene and scooped up the pictures and put them on the bed.

When Anderton is in the greenhouse with the pre-crime's creator, she says, "This just isn't your week, is it?" as she helps him sit down, and takes her hands off of him.

In the next shot she has her hands in the original location as he says, "I am not a killer.

" When in Anderton's house, Danny Witwer is sitting in front of Lara asking for her husband.

In the first shot she's sitting with both arms and legs in the same position.

In the next shot, her left leg is crossed and his right arm is resting on the photo frame.

When Anderton is first viewing the images from the Marks murder, the technician behind him takes his folder and folds it behind his arms twice.

When Anderton remembers Solomon P.

Eddie set his patients on fire, Eddie says "I put 'em out!" and then "Some not as quickly as others.

" but his mouth does not match the words.

When Howard Marks picks up his glasses from the bedside table, he is holding them upside down.

In the next shot he puts them on, and he is holding them right-side up.

After Anderton has attacked Crow in the hotel room, the position of the broken glass in the mirror changes between shots.

When the robots are looking for Anderton to scan his eye, he grabs a small cooler of ice and throws it into the bathtub to get in and hide.

The next time the camera shows the tub, there is nearly 10 times as much ice in the tub.

When the Leo Crow murder is first envisioned by the PreCogs, Jad says that the "time of occurrence is 15:06 hours", which is 3:06pm.

After Anderton sees that it's him in the prevision, he sets the alarm on his watch for 35 hours and 56 minutes.

Counting backwards from 3:06pm this means that it is currently just after 3am when Anderton, Jad, Wally and the rest of PreCrime are at work.

Also, when Anderton tries to escape on the MagLev and calls Lamar in his office, it is obviously in broad daylight and not 3am.

When Anderton has surgery to change his eyes, he has brown eyes, but on the computer screen his eyes are blue.

Also the eyes he uses to get access to the precog are blue.

In the Lexus factory when one of the agents chases Anderton behind a whole bunch of plastic barrels, the agent gets knocked out by Anderton causing his gun to slide across the floor and one of the plastic barrels to fall over on its side.

In the next shot of the gun sliding across the floor, the plastic barrel lands in an upright position.

When Anderton is sitting in the greenhouse, you see some plants in his background, in the next scene the plants are gone.

Lara drops Anderton's eye-bag onto the organ keyboard, and we hear a note which does not match the keys it hit.

This music is only an effect from the soundtrack, for our benefit.

It is not the music heard by the characters.

While Anderton is jogging through the street, an ad for pre-crime is playing, during which a future-victim states "he was going to rape me.

" However, later when Witwer is asking the pre-crime crew questions they discuss how the pre-cogs cannot see rape because of "the nature of murder".

If the attacker were only going to rape her, the pre-cogs would not have predicted it, but if the attacker had planned to kill her after the rape, the rape would most likely have been seen as part of the pre-cogs' vision.

John Anderton clearly has an alibi for Danny's murder.

Lamar Burgess is seen cleaning John Anderton's gun after killing Witwer.

While he is doing this, he talks to Lara on the phone where she tells him that John has just arrived with the Precog.

Since Danny's murder wasn't predicted or prevented by the Precogs, we'd be left to believe that normal forensic science and due process of the law would be applied, especially to the death of a deputy of the Attorney General.

When Dr.

Eddie injects Anderton with the anesthetic, Anderton bends Eddie's arm behind him and lays him down on a table.

Anderton then removes the needle from Eddie's hand.

We then cut to a closeup of Eddie saying, "You wouldn't break the hand of the violinist before the concert", and the needle is back in his hand.

When John is on top of his maglev car, it suddenly curves down the side of the building, forcing him to hang off it by his hands.

Before it cuts to close-up, you can clearly see that his car is only about 5 or 6 seconds from reaching the bottom of the building and curving back to horizontal.

But then he takes 45 seconds to climb and jump from car-to-car and eventually off the building - the side of the building just goes on forever as long as it needs to.

Several times in the movie, Anderton is referred to as 'Anderson'.

When John Anderton and Agatha approach the door of room 1006 where Crow is supposed to be staying, the doorknob is on the left side of the door.

In the next shot, when John Anderton knocks on and opens the door, the doorknob is on the right side.

When the police are sending the "spiders" for John after he has his eyes replaced, they discuss whether they should use "four spiders, on for each floor" and settling on 8 to be more time efficient.

When they start zapping John there are multiple "spiders" present indicating that they are operating on the same floor.

(The spiders may have been redirected to meet on the floor John was on after his body went cold.

) - PLOTGiven that Anderton is a man on the run it would make sense to revoke his access rights to PreCrime.

However in the movie he is able to access sensitive areas using his old eyes.

His ex-wife does the same later in the movie to access the prison.

When on the fire escape in the alleyway chase scene, Anderton releases the hover-pack from an officer in flight but checks that the officer has a grip on the railing so as not to fall.

Behind the officer's helmet, the flying rig/safety cable can be clearly seen.

Iris cuts her hand on a vine, then immediately opens her hand to reveal a large cut which is already bled out and scabbed over.

'Joel Gretsch' (qv)'s character is listed as "Donald Doobin" in the credits, but the name appears in the movie as "Donald Dubin".

When Solomon Eddie is speaking Swedish, the DVD subtitles record "speaking Russian.

" The year when the PreCrime program started, is referenced variously as 2045, 2046, and 2048 by the different characters.

When Anderton is in Crow's building he says that he must find out about the situation - if he had just waited 10 more minutes, the vision would have been proved false.

When Anderton is arresting Howard Marks, he states the date as April 22.

Later while Anderton is running, the commercial states the vote on the National Pre-Cog Initiative is on April 22 and later that same day while he is walking with Burgess, Lamar says that "in one week" the people will vote on the initiative.

The movie is set in 2054, but the hotel registry has "44" as a recent date.

The story is set in 2054, but when Anderton is eye-scanned on the subway, the information that is displayed in the PreCrime headquarters says that the date of the crime is "DEC 13 2055" and that Anderton has been missing since "DEC 12 2055.

" (You need to freeze-frame on the DVD, then flip the image horizontally to read the text being displayed on the transparent computer screen.

) When Lara is tying Lamar's bow tie, she stops tying and removes her arms from his body when Lamar mentions the drowning.

In the next scene, in the close-up of Lamar's face, when she says she hasn't mentioned a drowning, her arms are resting on his shoulders, as if she just stopped tying his bow tie.

Witwer says he's a former student at Fuller Seminary, but twice holds a religious medal, kissing it just before being shot by Lamar on the second occasion.

It would be extremely out of character for a Fuller seminarian to tote a Catholic icon.

In the advertisement supporting the Precog program, the narrator states that within a month of starting the program, the murder rate in Washington DC came down 90%.

Later in the same ad, however, a clips is shown of Director Burgess stating that in the 6 months the Precog program has been running, there hasn't been a single murder in DC.

If this was the case, the murder rate would have been down 100% after the first month, not 90%.

When Sarah Marks and her lover are in the bathroom off of the bedroom they close the door allowing the mirror to show Howard Marks standing unnoticed in the room.

In the next shot with Marks he's starts to cry still standing alone in the bedroom, but the bathroom door is now open.

When Lara goes into her "darkroom" to pull a print out of the fixer to be washed, the door is open, the light is on, and there are windows that are uncovered.

Solomon Eddie speaks of his days in prison.

His statement beginning "For true enlightenment.

", and you hear, ".

A large fellow with an attitude.

However his lips say something very different, possibly, less courteous.

During the "Press Conference" John Anderton walks out a multi-paneled glass door.

As the camera pushes toward his face we can see the etched glass makers mark on the top left corner of one panel caused by the back lighting.

When he is shown though that same panel a few shots later, that mark cannot be seen, showing it was shot though a different piece of glass.

(at around 1 min) Anderton is seen kicking the window out of the back of the car which flies away, as the car begins its descent the window is back.

When boarding the train/metro, a woman is scanned when her eyes are closed.

She can be seen on the left side as John enters the train.

During the jet pack chase scene, two officers fall while running behind John riding Knott.

In the very next cut, the same two officers are shown, still running and then falling again in the same manner.

The Leo Crow murder is said to be case number 1109.

Later, we see a shot of Anderton taken through the display wall as he scrubs the Leo Crow data, the number 1108 is at the top of the display wall (reversed because we are looking through the clear display wall from behind).

The Howard Marks case from the beginning of the movie is identified as case 1108.

The 2nd 0 of room 1006/9 doesn't reflect the light completely because of dirt on it but after he opens the door it's clean again.

- PLOTWhen John takes Agatha to see his hacker friend they escape with the aid of Agatha's immediate future visions.

However at the start of the movie it is explained that the precogs can only see future murders, not immediate non-murder futures.

After John's eye swapping surgery the 'surgeon' walks towards him and pauses on his right side to tell him not to remove his bandages.

In the next shot John reaches up to touch his bandages and the surgeon is suddenly on his left side to stop him.

- PLOTWe are told that no detectives or other police officers are ever allowed into the PreCog temple in order to prevent tampering, yet after Witwer and the other detectives leave, Wally (the PreCog caretaker) walks out of the room leaving Anderton alone with the PreCogs.

When Anderton and the team are at the Marks residence, the front door is open.

From the exterior the door is hinged on the left and open on the right.

The next shot is from inside the home and the door is open on the right when it should be open on the left.

Minority Report, with it's thought provoking sci-fi thrills, is something like a Blade Runner for the 21st century. Tom Cruise is a action star as usual, but this time we get into is character's philosophical views.

This movie has a smart plot and good performances. Tom Cruise is very good as the Chief John Anderton.

In the year 2054, Washington D.C.

If you are a fan of black mirror, then this movie is a must ! However, there is no dark ending here but the movie is so enjoyable to watch.

For all the future/ psychic predictions in this, one of my favorite Sci- Fi films. They could not in 2002 predict the demise of printed newspapers.

Minority Report is classic big-budgeted Steven Spielberg. In the hands of a more subtle but equally competent director, I think the film would have benefited from being a far superior movie.

I'm going through all my old DVD's while stuck at home. Some are just as enjoyable now some are excruciatingly out of date.

In this great film, the duo of Tom Cruise and Steven Spielberg is incredible. I was very impressed by the futuristic action scenes and implementation of different environments and technologies within the main character's journey.

Though directed by Steven Spielberg, movie is not so enjoyable. Story is so confused.
