This is those kind of film that you will want to watch with your kid. It's simply a movie where everything is good and you just can enjoy the whole time.
This film made me feel like a child again. Both the joys and the sorrows.

Alright so a few days ago I watched My Neighbor Totoro, my second film from Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli. I have to say, Miyazaki is a very talented filmmaker and knows how to make an animation.

The animation is beautiful, and there is a beautiful atmosphere in this charming world. However, I couldn't really bring myself to enjoy the movie, because it's slow and has no action until the very end.
This movie brings a feeling of warmth and happiness, protecting the little dream in everyone's heart from being destroyed. This dream is a flawless, a yearning, a childlike innocence from within.
Let me just say before I actually write the review, that I'm not all that big a fan of Anime. That being said, I'd seen two Studio Ghibli films before watching My Neighbor Totoro, and I enjoyed both.
