The chips in the pot at the card game change continually throughout the scene.

The camera and operator are reflected in the narrow mirror at Reuben Tishkoff's house as the gang discusses the robbery.

When Virgil and Turk bump into each other in the casino and start "arguing", their mouths don't move.

(Visible only in full screen version.

) When they try to convince Reuben to join the team, the first shot from behind him shows him picking up a fork, but in the next shot his hands are gesturing in front of him.

As Danny is going up the escalator in Trump Plaza, his jacket is open.

In the next shot, the jacket is buttoned closed.

In the race between the Big truck and the radio controlled little truck, the position of the tires relative to the start line changes between scene cuts.

Chain attached to briefcase is longer when in the vault then when it is transferred to Saul.

When Yen opens money cart in vault and briefcase slides off, the chain is longer and the briefcase goes a lot further over the side of the cart.

When Danny leaves prison after his probation violation and meets Rusty, he is wearing the tuxedo he was arrested in and has an untied bow tie.

The location of the untied bow tie changes several times.

At the beginning of the transportation scene the car salesman has two pens in his jacket pocket, then he only has one in the next scene.

He then shakes Frank Catton's hand and they again show him having two pens.

After he makes a deal for $16,000 they show him with only one pen.

(not visible in widescreen version) In the scene where Danny meets Linus in Chicago, Danny refers to Las Vegas as "America's Playground.

" In fact, that designation belongs to Atlantic City, which was known by this nickname for many years before Las Vegas became a gambling center.

Las Vegas has never marketed itself as "America's Playground.

" When Yen back-flips onto the cabinet in the vault he over-leaps and his body goes over the edge.

In the next shot, from behind the cabinet, his body is on the cabinet and his legs are over the edge.

- PLOTThe DVD commentary admits that there was no way in which all the flyers that were carried out of the casino and driven to the airport could have been in the vault.

Turk races Virgil's R/C truck on a cloudy day.

But as Turk crushes Virgil's truck, we see sunshine.

As Turk leaves Virgil's truck in a crumpled heap, the sky is cloudy again.

During the scene in which Danny explains the security of the Bellagio vault a map is displayed on the screen which shows a portion of the Las Vegas strip.

It is incorrect in that it places the MGM Grand casino in the place where the Aladdin (now Planet Hollywood) casino should be.

If the MGM Grand were placed in its correct position, it would be partially off the screen.

The shot before Linus pickpockets the stock broker, he is holding the pen with the tip in his mouth.

But in the up close shot, he has the pen in his mouth horizontally.

In the scene where Livingston tells Danny that guards will be watching him like hawks with video cameras, you can see Reuben removing the cigar and blowing smoke out of his mouth.

But in the next above-shot, you can see the cigar magically appear in his mouth again and he removes it and blows out smoke again.

In the scene when the casino vault's doors were blown, Danny and Linus had their hair in a mess, but in the next shot their are perfectly combed.

When Linus gets out of the white van to go join the rest of the crew stealing the Pinch, the camera takes a shot including Linus walking towards the door and the rear right side of the van.

In the reflection off the side of the van, 4 crew members are visible sitting down.

In the scene where Rusty is convincing Saul to become a member of the team at the dog races, an African-American couple can be seen in the background walking across the scene in the same direction twice in two consecutive shots.

When Linus has just been hauled out of the elevator, one shot shows him take off his white jacket and in the next shot, he takes it off again at the same time as Danny.

When they place Danny in the private room with Bruiser, they are chit-chatting at a normal volume, which leads us to believe that it is a soundproof room.

However, later on when Bruiser is faking beating Danny up, they show the two guards on the outside hearing Bruiser hit his fist and make moaning sounds.

If they could hear that, they would have been able to hear the whole earlier conversation.

When Linus opens the top of the elevator to discover Danny looking down at him, he jumps in surprise.

A shot from Danny's view shows him jumping into a corner, meaning the elevator is only as wide as the hole Danny is looking through.

But when Danny pulls Linus up through the hole, a shot from inside the elevator shows that it is actually wider.

When Yen is doing the real job you can see that his foot hit the laser without setting the alarm.

Danny supposed to get a really bad beating.

But when Benedict goes to see him after he's been robbed, Danny is hardly out of breath, there's not a mark on him and only his shirt is no longer tucked in, yet Benedict and the two guards don't find this at all suspicious.

When Terry Benedict asks his employee if there is anything for him (in the high rollers room), he responds that Mr.

Zerga in the third position (of the baccarat game) wants to talk to him.

Zerga is actually sitting in the first position originally when speaking to the other player at the table.

However, when the camera pans back to look at the table, it appears that Mr.

Zerga is in the center of the table facing the dealer, and the other player would be in the 5th position now (he was originally sitting in the 3rd position when talking to Mr.

Zerga).

After the "pinch" goes off, and all power comes back on, the cell phone in Tess's pocket rings.

She pulls out the cell phone, and pulls the antenna up, but in the flashback when Danny puts the phone in her pocket, the antenna is already pulled out.

When Rusty and Linus are talking before Tess walks down the stairs, Rusty goes from a shrimp cup, to a plate, and back to a cup.

The casino manager is seen in two places at the same time.

First, he is with Saul when the briefcase is being taken to the vault, while at the same time he is meeting Benedict and Linus as they are escorting Frank out of the casino.

Danny claims that casinos are "required by law" to keep enough cash on hand to redeem every chip in play.

Not true.

there is in fact a set of "formulas" or "guidelines" for cash to be kept by casinos.

It generally involves a certain amount for each type of table game open, plus a certain amount for each slot machine of a certain denomination, etc.

When Rusty is talking to Saul at the dog races, the level of the slush cup that he is eating from goes from nearly empty to nearly full to half way full.

When Livingston Dell is getting the signals of the security system in the casino, he exits the area with his shirt all stained with sweat.

He forgets the gadget he uses to do his job and the security guy goes after him to give it back, and reaches him when he's about to exit.

At that point, Livingston's shirt is not stained anymore.

Lots of fun - clever twists - likable characters - good action.

The promotional material inarguably reads: "The skill of Academy Award-winning director Steven Soderbergh combines with enough starpower to light up the Las Vegas strip in this classy caper. George Clooney plays Danny, defying the odds in a split-second heist of three Vegas casinos - all owned by a magnate (Andy Garcia) who is dating Danny's ex-wife (Julia Roberts).

Really fun classic heist film. The heist film of heist films.

Ocean's 11 (2001): Dir: Steven Soderbergh / Cast: George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Julia Roberts, Don Cheadle: Disastrous remake starring George Clooney as a thief named Daniel Ocean (how clever). He is released from prison after serving time for being part of Batman and Robin, and immediately hooks up with fellow thief Brad Pitt to (ominous drum roll), rob a casino!

I watched this film first probably around 2003-4, and nearly 20 years after its initial release, I'm still hugely entertained every time I watch this again (I've rewatched this probably half a dozen times over the years). It's aged tremendously well.

The movie is pretty good. The details are so flawless.

"Ocean's Eleven" is a uniquely Las Vegas movie. The lights, casinos, hotels, fountains, and televised boxing matches - all shot on location along the strip - will captivatingly resonate with anyone who has spent time in the Gambling Capital of the World.

I haven't watched this movie for a long time and it is a great heist movie don't get me wrong but.... I think this is one of those movies that is fantastic when you watch it and see the twist for the first time.

Great heist film, checks most if not all of the boxes needed for this kind of film.Very fun watch.
