There are several shots in the movie where news TV channels display "Whitehouse" instead of "White House".

When Mike and Kang are speaking to each other via webcam, from Kang's side Mike is looking directly into the screen but from Mike's side his head is tilted back and up to look into the camera.

After the Hydra weapon had been destroyed, the news feed shows no smoke.

In a later scene there's a great deal of smoke billowing from the building.

Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) looks shaved while having coffee with Secret Service Director Lynn Jacobs and trying (and failing) to call his wife.

He then leaves a message and is obviously not shaved.

The White House is not nearly as bright white colored as depicted in the movie.

The front lawn of the White House is much deeper between the house and the street than depicted.

- PLOTEven after 18 months of Mike not being in the White House all the lock codes are the same as he remembers them.

- PLOTThe terrorists activate the Cerberus device, and set all American missiles to abort in their silos with the expectation of creating widespread nuclear damage.

In reality, aborting a missile would either eject the plutonium core, or conventionally detonate the missile - there would be no nuclear component to any explosion.

When the AC130 gunship is downed it is referred to as a "bogey" which is an unidentified contact, but should have been referred to as a "Bandit" as it is now identified as a foe.

When the Black Hawk helicopters carrying the Navy Seals teams are seen flying the Washington Monument can be seen still standing without any structural damage for a few brief seconds.

When Banning's wife is watching the news with other medical staff on the TV, the white coat of one of the staff members carries the logo for North Louisiana Hospital, even though they are supposed to be in Washington.

(Many scenes were filmed in Louisiana).

Antoine Fuqua had already directed two movies before "Training Day" got him some notice (and won Denzel Washington a Best Actor Oscar). Since then all of Fuqua's movies have been total popcorn movies.

First of all i think we all should fully agree with the point that what "A Good Day to Die Hard" should have been. I would have loved it, if it was a part of die hard series, or starred with action hero Bruce Willis, of course, i am a die hard fan of him, as we all know what this man can do.

Isn't amazing that so many Hollywood Actors want guns banned in the U.S?

If you didn't like this movie, please check your pulse and make sure you are not toes up! If you like action "this is must see TV".

While the premise of the movie is far fetched, you will find yourself saying "that could never happen" quite a lot but it is still a really good movie. Lots of action without being a gory movie.

I have been rather bummed out as of late when it comes to action movies. Aside from The Expendables franchise which I admittedly relish, and a few others here and there.

Review: I quite enjoyed this Die Hard in the White House type of movie, but it doesn't have the wit and cockiness of Bruce Willis. That not to say that Gerard Butler didn't do a bad job, and its good to see him taking a break from them annoying Rom-Com's.

Yes, there were some things wrong with this movie. The two jets that intercept the NK Spectre gunship aren't in proper formation one should be above and behind the suspect aircraft while the other closes in for visual ID.

***DEFINITE SPOILERS*** I have to say that I wasn't expecting this movie to be nearly as good as it was but I absolutely loved it. I run hot and cold on Gerard Butler but he really pulled out all the stops in this movie, as Secret Service Agent Mike Banning and talk about some hellishly good fight choreography!
