Based on the life of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, focusing on the early cases of her career as she tries to introduce the concept of equal rites for Women into areas of the US Legal System. It focuses on the problems she faced at university, the adversity her husband Martin beat, the sexism of certain colleagues and peers and the barriers that the legal profession kept throwing at her.
You may not know the woman and for some the term feminist has become an accusatory and/or derogatory term. But Ruth and other women like her fought for equality and things that now seem obvious and are established.
For such an amazing person with such a storied career, this movie focuses only on her first case. While this is of course important to who she is and would become, the plot points herein could have been summed up in about 25 minutes.
I found this movie more boring than a documentary. There was zero chemistry between Marty and Ruth.
Cinematography was not the greatest, but the great story covers the weaknesses of the executive branch.

Great actors, good pacing and interesting legal issues discussed in this drama. Really enjoyable film!
I decided to watch this movie for the first time, after the recent passing of RBG. She was an amazing lady and I did not know much about how she got started.
