Sarah's coke can in the first dinner at the house repeatedly turns around between shots.

The amount of coke in Sarah's glass changes between shots.

It is clearly raining outside, yet when Burnham is in the house, he is completely dry.

Meg Altman breaks the mirror with the sledgehammer then walks over the razor sharp shattered glass with her bare feet.

But right as she's about to walk out the door you see she's wearing some kind of 'hidden' protection on the bottom of her feet.

After Meg Throws the medical bag into the panic room and Burnham sees it open for the first time the red plastic case that contains the syringe for Sarah is not there, but later it is.

When Meg is taping up the vents, she leaves the bottom of the vent unsealed.

But when it shows her taping up the next vent the first vent is taped shut all the way.

When Meg starts searching for a "chocolate bar" once Sarah's sugar level drops, Sarah says she had already searched in the box and had found nothing.

Yet we clearly see standard U.

Military M.

(meal ready to eat) packages which include a high sugar ration (in the form of, or in addition to, a dessert with the meal itself and sugar to be used with the included instant coffee), when Sarah was first searching.

Striking a flame or spark in the flue when there is a flammable gas mixture in it would not result in flame shooting back to the source of the gas, and even if it did it wouldn't result in the gas cylinder being blasted around the room.

At best a continuous flame would burn at the point where the pipe joints the duct (after severely burning Meg's exposed arm); at worst, but more likely, there would be a massive blast in the panic room, probably killing the two girls but at least burning them both severely.

When the E.

(Emergency Service Unit) team enters the house and clears the bottom floor officer Keeney calls for a "bus" or ambulance to help Stephen.

When E.

are called to a scene an ambulance is automatically dispatched with them, there would be no need for Officer Keeney to call.

Junior says that Meg had closed escrow.

New York does not have an escrow system.

Closing on a house is done with attorneys, with a set closing date.

Flammable gas (propane, butane) is heavier than air.

When the villains try to gas Meg and Sarah out of the panic room, Meg says to "keep down" when this is in fact where the gas would go.

Staying close to the floor would increase the danger of asphyxiation.

Sarah, a diabetic starts seizing while in the panic room due to low amounts of blood sugar.

Even if Sarah was a type one diabetic, her body would not go into ketogenic shock so rapidly while in the panic room.

She did not expel enough energy in the time she ate dinner that night, to the time they became locked in the panic room for this to occur.

She had to have had some other serious condition for her body to seize that quickly into the night.

If she was going into ketogenic shock, her body would have expelled large amount of ammonia that would have also intoxicated her mother.

- PLOTThe first thing the intruders do is drill every window and exterior door shut with multiple drywall screws.

Therefore the only possible way Meg could have opened the front door when the police first arrived would have been to unscrew the doors with the drill and she would not have been able to convince the police that there wasn't any trouble on the premises.

- PLOTAs we know from the prologue when Evan is showing the panic room to Meg, the panic room door makes a lot of noise when opening and closing.

Therefore, when she runs out to get her phone, the intruders would have heard it immediately.

Overall its great, nice thriller movie except for the ending it was like they end it in a rush.

*** SPOILERS ***Pretty much what you would expect: A bunch of robbers coming to hit a place they hear has a lot of money (think "In Cold Blood") a sudden, unwelcome, and ultimately psychotic addition to the team (like any heist movie) a character with a potentially life-threatening condition (lots of movies where someone's trapped) and a single location (like "Bound"). All of this is no surprise since the screenwriter is the untalented David Koepp (who ruined the film version of "Jurassic Park").

Panic Room could have gone one of two ways, either suffering from or benefitting from its relatively simple premise - a mother and daughter seeking refuge in their panic room following a home invasion. Fortunately its the latter, as David Fincher manages to draw out a lot of mileage and tension from the set up.

Panic Room is not one of David Fincher's best films, but it's still a magnificent piece of filmmaking. Thanks to his strong directing and some powerful acting performances, Panic Room rises above most thrillers regarding breaking and entering.

I can't believe some of the things I'm reading from other reviewers. Millions of plot holes and so forth...

First of all, i have immediately opened the film when i read the short description.Even though the year of the film was little bit old,It totally met my expectations.

Panic Room is an enjoyable film with good performances and skilled camerawork. It was great to see how space was used to create tension throughout, as the film was able to utilize the room's location within other areas of the house to create tension as the characters move in and out of it.

I have to admit, this is perhaps the most excruciatingly annoying film I have ever seen. I didn't find it fun - I wanted to kill Jody Foster's character for being such an idiot!

The visuals were stunning. But despite how promising the trailer was, the movie itself was a let down.
