When Neil is watching his mother's aerobics DVD, it has white lines going across the screen as it is paused.

VHS tapes did that but DVDs don't.

When Norman and his classmates are rehearsing for the school play in the beginning of the movie, Norman is holding a script when he begins to read his part.

However, after he is interrupted, he is no longer holding a script.

When Norman and company are driving away from the zombies and cause Norman's father to crash, the police officer crashes into the Babcocks' car from the direction the van has just headed rather than where it has just come from.

I really enjoy animation and animated films (especially stop motion) because the artwork is out of this world, but in a lot of cases they fall short on the writing and original plot work. Unfortunately this is the case with ParaNorman.

In Blithe Hollow, lonely Norman Babcock can talk to the dead but only his new friend Neil believes him. The town is in fact under a curse casted by a witch centuries ago.

A young boy with the gift (or curse) to see dead people takes on ghosts, zombies and all the grown-ups in his town when he realises he has to protect them from a centuries-old curse. With his best friend and sister, he sets out to save the world.

Agatha the angry ghost is magnificent. This whole movie is.

A great movie that is a great mish-mash of Halloween fun.

300 years ago the good Puritans of Blythe Hollow executed a young girl for witchcraft. She didn't take to kindly to it.

This is the most underrated movie i've ever seen in animated genre apart from Tim burtons Frankenweenie which was a halloween masterpiece. But this movie did over the top clay animation that added real ghostly texture to the story.

A cute storyline and good spooky animation. Characters were well acted and the concept was interesting.
