The Pablo Neruda poem used in the film (set in the early-to-mid-'70s) was not translated into English until 1986.

Position of Patch's hands and fingers in the first "How many fingers do you see?" scene.

The level of the drink in Truman's glass changes between shots when he is talking to Patch.

At the Gesundheit Institute, one of the patients is watching the Marx Brothers film _Duck Soup (1933)_ (qv).

But the audio track doesn't match the portion of the film shown on the television screen.

During the welcome scene at the school, the green folder on the desk/counter moves between shots.

At one point in the movie, Patch says that humans are the only organisms on earth that kill their own kind; this is not the case - chimpanzees also do this, and sharks eat their young.

Camera and boom equipment are visible (and in motion) in the door window as the gynecologists are approaching the door between the paper mache "legs" that Patch Adams prepared for their arrival.

I saw Patch Adams, as I was interested in the subject and I like Robin Williams and most of his movies. Patch Adams is not quite his best movie, but it is up there and features one of his best performances.

Yet another older movie I've taken too long to see. Turns out it's another cracker.

Patch Adams is a charming, heart warming movie that feels very much a part of it's era. An era of movies that we just don't see getting produced anymore, in my opinion.

.... and despite the many moving moments in the film which at times are very endearing, I found the film to be quite boring.

This movie sucks. Here how it sucks.

This movie reminds me of my ex Louisa she was the greatest person to ever live. Louisa thurs I'm sorry.

Robin Williams is outstanding in this amazing film about patients and doctors. Simply a must watch.

On first glance you would think that with this user rating the movie just isn't that good. Well, on the contrary.

A wonderful movie. I finally had a chance to watch it and I very much enjoyed it.
