After Alice lands in what she thinks is Arcadia, and after her video-log, while investigating the "mysterious figure" she readies both her revolvers and points them right at the camera.

There are no bullets in the chambers.

Also, even if the chamber behind the barrel of each gun WAS loaded, when she pulled the trigger, the cylinder would revolve and the hammer would strike the next (and obviously empty) chamber.

When the Alice clones attack Umbrella Corporation HQ, they fire thousands of rounds from sub-machine guns without reloading.

The Tmp machine pistol they were using can only be fired for about 4 seconds before emptying.

While Claire is fighting with the Axeman, he chases her only to have her do a wall run and vault back over his head.

This would see her land 10-12 feet behind him.

But when the action continues Claire starts running from the far end of the shower room, a good 30 feet away.

The clones of Alice in the beginning go from a slight platform heel to flats and back and forth during the action scene.

When Claire and Chris Redfield shoot Wesker with their pistols, one can clearly see that the muzzle flash and weapon recoil are not synchronized.

When Alice confronts Wesker at the end of the movie, We notice that Chris follows her.

However, when we see Chris and Claire later, they appear behind Wesker, even though they took the same path as Alice, who ended up in front of him.

When Alice tied up Claire after a fight, Claire's hair is untidily, her face and arms are dirty and and her clothes are waste.

Later in the plane, Clair is perfectly coiffed, clean and made-up.

It seems that she has even new clothes, yet the two were only on a small airfield with no infrastructure around.

When Claire is chased by the huge Axe Zombie in the shower room he can be seen cutting several shower posts in half just behind Claire's back, but in the next scene while she is still running in a straight line, the posts in front of her are also destroyed and fountaining water, although neither have passed them yet.

During the battle with the Axe zombie, Claire uses the wet ground to slide under him and while firing off the shotgun.

at that moment his Axe is mid way though it's back swing (most likely about to crush her) in the next scene (closeup of him falling) it's beside him.

At the beginning of the movie when Alice lands in Alaska, she walks over to the beach, places her camera on a log, and sits down in front of it.

Initially, the camera is angled at a lower position and could not possibly be recording her face.

As she continues with her filmed monologue, the camera changes angles and is positioned toward her upper body as it should have been to begin with.

When the Axe zombie hits the prison gates, he receives a few shots in the head and at least one hole in the cloth covering his face.

When later he appears in the prison bathroom, there are holes in the cloth only on the back of his head.

GPS readings on the video camera on the beach in Alaska show "61°13'N LON 149°54'W LAT".

- Latitude is measured north/south from the equator and longitude is measured east/west of the prime meridian, not the other way around.

- The actual location, it seems is N 61.

13° W 149.

54° - decimal degrees, not degrees and minutes.

In fact, Alice describes her location this way (using the word "point") one while while recording in flight.

- At 61°N, a minute of latitude is 1857 meters and a minute of longitude is 902 meters.

At the speed an airplane flies, these numbers should have been changing while the recordings were made in flight.

The degree minute position of 61°13'N 149°54'W is Anchorage, whereas the decimal degree position of 61.

13 N 149.

54 W is in the mountain range approximately 110 km ESE of Anchorage.

Throughout the series the undead must be shot in the head to be killed, whereas in this movie many undead are felled by body shots.

This is not a goofall the zombies that are shown to actually die are shot in the head.

The rest are presumably only briefly incapacitated.

When Alice is on the beach, she is sitting next to the Umbrella helicopter that Claire used in "Extinction" to take her group to Alaska.

In "Extinction" and the flashback seen in this movie, the helicopter is a single engine AS 350, but the helicopter seen sitting on the beach is the 350's successor the twin engine AS 355 F2.

The difference can clearly be seen when looking at the exhaust area of each model.

When Alice kicks the table and throws the knives to Wesker, you can see Bennet like 5 meters away from Alice but in the very next second he is conveniently 1 meter away from her, just in time to have his gun kicked away.

When Alice is in the shower room, she hears a noise and points her gun while investigating.

In some shots the shower behind her is running but as it cuts to a different angle the water isn't running but it sounds like it is.

When Alice's plane lands on the roof and crashes through the wall the propeller is undamaged.

In Jill Valentine ending credits scene, we can see the cloudy sky trough the window of the Osprey, but in the reflection on the floor, we can see the green screen.

The Yak 52 airplane Alice lands in Alaska has a counter weighted prop, but when she lands on the roof in California the Yak has a standard prop.

When Chris explains to the group what the UPV stands for, he refers to it as a "sixteen-wheeler", whereas the vehicle seen in the garage is actually an eight-wheeler with double tires in the back.

Alice is seen stacking quarters to load into her 12 gauge shotgun, and later uses her shotgun, apparently filled with quarters, to kill a number of zombies.

When she does so, a quarter is seen embedded in the wall next to Luther West.

She again uses them on the "Arcadia" to kill one of the zombie dogs.

However, the diameter of a quarter is 0.

955 inches; therefore, it would not fit in a 12 gauge shotgun, as the diameter of the barrel is 0.

729 inches During the opening battle at the Tokyo Umbrella division (at around 8 mins) , Alice throws a sword through the head of a guard and despite it penetrating the guard's head to just a few inches shy of the hilt, it does not penetrate through the back of the guard's head, which is incorrectly regarded as a goof because (at around 8 mins), we see a bullet strike the sword, breaking the blade, as Alice spins through the air, making the sword almost useless, resulting in Alice's decision to throw it at the guard.

After being injected Alice is turned back into a 'human'.

While a blow from the Axeman was enough to send her out for the rest of the battle later on in the movie she gets a knife stuck all the way through her arm and is able to just pull it out as if it were nothing.

If she was really human having the knife go completely through her forearm would have rendered her incapable of using the arm.

Before going underwater in search of the armory, Alice gives Chris one of her revolvers and the other one to Crystal.

Later after they are confronted by the zombies, Chris starts shooting with two revolvers, and we have not seen him take the one from Crystal.

However, upon closer inspection it's clear that Crystal drops her gun when she gets pulled by the zombie into the water.

Just before Alice strikes the next undead, Chris starts to lean to reach the gun so in the next scene he has both.

In the end, when Alice talks on the radio to give out new coordinates, she says "118.

30 west and 34.

05 north" which places it right on Normandie Ave in Los Angeles.

Not on the cargo ship floating on the waters off LA as was shown.

The inside of the Arcadia does not match the exterior of the vessel in neither size nor shape.

When Alice pulls two revolvers to investigate the airport, both are shown to be unloaded (empty cylinders).

Full of ridiculous clichés, very bad story. Visually acceptable, made essentially for 3D.

Again, I love these movies! Milla Yovovich is back and better than ever, especially when the movie starts with multiple Milla Yovovich's in the character of Alice as clones of the real Alice.

So, eleven years after the original movie was released, we are on film four in the successful Resident Evil film franchise. But does the latest entry succeed in being a great escape from reality into another zombie world or is it dead in the water?

There is a terrible problem with 3D movies these days. They are so focused on making the best possible 3D that they forget to work on everything else.

This installment doesn't feel like a movie. The story does not make any sense.

After surprisingly enjoying the last instalment "Extinction" which was directed by Russell Mulcahy. Filmmaker Paul W.

I signed up for an account just to warn anyone from wasting anytime even looking at the case the movie came in. It is just awful.

Resident Evil - Gave its in game routes an honourable mention.Resident Evil:Apocalypse - Returned full force bringing the excitement Resident Evil 3 to the big screen.

Resident Evil: Afterlife attempts to take the series back to basics and delivers a campy action film that has fun with the material. In this chapter Alice searches for Claire and her group of survivors of the zombie apocalypse, which were headed for Alaska looking for the infection free zone Arcadia.
