On the golf course, Uri advises Lenny that, because they are on the ninth hole, it will take him until sunrise to get back to his car.

The ninth and eighteenth greens are often closest to the clubhouse, however many traditional British links style courses have ninth holes that are the furthest point from the clubhouse.

This is the basis of the expression, "at the turn" in golf.

After the ninth hole, the golfers will turn around and the remaining holes will lead them back to clubhouse.

This is also why scorecards say "out" referring to the score on the front nine and "in" for the back nine.

When we first meet Johnny, he flashes back to his childhood, singing in his bedroom.

We are indicated it is fifteen years earlier by an on screen note.

As the scene progresses and we see more of the boy's room, a Playstation video game console can clearly be seen under the boy's television.

If the movie took place in the year 2008, this scene would be taking place in 1993, but this console was not released until the end of 1995.

In the scene where Lenny tells his henchmen the painting's been stolen, Bandy asks "where was it then?", his shirt collar is unbuttoned, sticking out of his jacket.

Though when the camera cuts back to him, he is wearing a tie and his collar is buttoned.

Then when it cuts back to him, his collar is unbuttoned and sticking out again.

At the party, OneTwo asks Stella to dance while she is smoking.

When it pans out she is sitting on a empty sofa.

Then when she turns to set down her smoke a large glass ashtray suddenly appears.

The two "Chechnyans" would more likely be veterans of the Russian Army who've served in Chechnya.

This is because actual Chechens would speak the Chechen language rather than Russian.

When the rich Russian goes to his accountant house to ask her to marry him, he comes with a silver S Class Mercedes Benz.

When he decides to kill her (seeing his picture in her house), the scene shows his left behind bodyguard in a black Audi A8 (the same car from the end).

Majority of the Russian lines in the movie don't correspond to the translation shown.

Mostly the overall approximate meaning of a passage or dialogue is preserved, but even that is not always the case.

During the flashback to Johnny's childhood, Lenny switches off his stereo.

As he switches it off he pushes the top part of the stereo out of place.

When the camera pans back out we can see that the stereo is back in the correct position.

A few years and dismissible movies after he had been written off as a one-trick pony, Guy Ritchie proves that he can yet make a decent movie. With RocknRolla.

I saw this at the cinema and I liked it then. Watching it now I saw quite a lot of decent actors it.

Whilst RocknRolla shares a number of elements with Guy Ritchie's pervious films "Lock, Stock and Twitter Smoking Barrels" and "Snatch", it doesn't quite have the humour and quotability of his earlier works.A Stella cast revel in this London Underworld story of drugs, paintings, dodgy property deals and robberies.

I loved movies like Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch but this movie was a movie that just would not end quickly enough. Perhaps it was trying too hard, perhaps it's just becoming a bit too boring and tedious.

Guy Ritchie always does that sort of stuff: gathers a bunch of famous actors to perform in a crime drama movie with a lot of twists. so it was kind of fun, the second half of the movie was better but all in all it was really well done.

Just saw the movie last night, and I was a little bit anxious and afraid to get my hopes up. But I wasn't disappointed in anyway.

We all know 'Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels' as the film that practically reinvented the modern day British crime thriller (not to mention launch a certain Mr Ritchie's career) and then 'Snatch' as the sort-of follow up starring Brad Pitt which was a kind of compendium piece to Lock, Stock. Then Guy Ritchie's name got attached to a singer and things didn't go so well for a while.
