When the Shorties tag "Sharkslayer" on the wall, the painting of Oscar wearing armor and carrying a sword disappears after it is first seen.

When Angie and Sykes are watching Oscar on TV "killing" Lenny, Angie's tail passes through the desk.

When the anchor kills Frankie, after the dust has cleared, it is nowhere to be seen.

At Frankie's funeral, when the casket bearers put Frankie's body over the side he floats upwards, as a dead fish would do.

A shark however, has no swim bladder and is heavier than water, so a shark - whether living or dead - will sink to the bottom when not in motion.

Lenny tells Frankie that he's cold because he's cold blooded.

In fact, great white sharks are one of four types of shark that are warm blooded.

Ignore all the comparisons to whatever, it's very funny, great detail all over the place, and great character interaction. There is no reason why it's got a low rating on here other than bedroom film critics that are going into meltdown.

The movie was totally fun and comedy. Even, the lie told by Oscar is too funny, that he killed a shark.

I mean you're watching an older animated movie about a shark mafia and fish. But still a bop.

The stories about how the main characters who get popular, through either the truth or a lie, are interesting to see how they would handle it. Especially to see if they would feel initially grateful, to then start to have doubts, if it is right or wrong in what the main characters do.

I loved this movie when I was a kid - possibly my favourite movie bc of how funny the storyline is, with multiple sub plots and hilarious dialogue. I can never believe whenever somebody says this movie is bad since I love it so much - its only got like a 39% on rotten tomatoes!

This lame comedy feels like it was written by studio executives, capitalizing on the latest trends. The pop culture references are stale and weak, I mean who was making MC Hammer jokes in 2004?

Whatever the differences between Disney's Pixar and DreamWorks Studios are in terms of animation and types of stories, I don't think they have been more opposite as when they were fully expressed by the two rival studios when they coincidentally decided to handle the aquatic world, in a one-year interval: "Finding Nemo" in 2003 and "Shark Tale" in 2004. If it is a coincidence or a case of some 'leaks' (no pun intended) doesn't really matter as the two films don't navigate in the same seas.

Shark Tale was released in 2004, to mixed reviews and financial success. Now while many have brought up the fact that Dreamworks released this only a year after Finding Nemo came out.

Oscar (Will Smith) is a tiny prey fish working at a Whale Wash. Like everybody else, he cowers in fear of the sharks.
