When Shrek first arrives at Far Far Away after being captured, the 24 hour timer only displays about 1-2 hours gone, but the journey, as shown in _Shrek 2 (2004)_ (qv), would have taken some days.

- PLOTWhen Shrek is crying in the woods, the tear is shown falling down his right side.

However, when Donkey notices, he is standing to Shrek's left, from which angle the tear is not visible.

After Shrek visits the swamp and finds it dry, he is looking at Rumpel's contract while the witches are flying by.

He has the contract on his right hand in one take, and after the witch is seen, the contract magically disappears.

_Shrek 2 (2004)_ (qv) starts off with Prince Charming arriving at Dragon's Keep days after Shrek and Donkey unchained the Dragon and departed with Fiona.

In the parallel universe, if Shrek and Donkey hadn't "rescued" Fiona, Prince Charming might have attempted to do so, but very likely would have been fatally burned by the still-present Dragon.

Because Shrek was able to get his life back, he would have never met all the other Ogres, yet all of them are present, as if old friends, at the end of the film.

Shrek picks up Fiona's handkerchief near the monogrammed corner, pulling it toward him.

In the next shot, the handkerchief is sitting in the palm of his hand with the monogrammed corner facing away from him.

When Rumpelstiltskin is threatening the witches, the amount of water in his goblet changes irregularly between shots.

Surprisingly heartwarming for a Shrek movie. The animation is well done, the storyline has good flow, and it has all the classic Shrek charm.

Underrated due to that hipster thought of "hate new things love old things".

Shrek's big difference was the way he deconstructed the characters from fairy tales. The inversion of positions within the traditional plot, coupled with a good dose of sarcasm and neat dubbing, made the film a success.

It is the most boring of the Shrek films and terrible. Go watch Shrek 1,2 or even 3 instead.

This film returns to the quality of the first two Shrek films but with new elements. Shrek is no longer a grouch who wants to keep people out of his swamp but he has plenty more issues as a new father.

The first thing I noticed, was the stunning animation! Shrek now is a family man, and finds his life has fallen into monotony.

It's dark. It doesn't have the comedy it used to.

After how disappointing the third film was, Shrek Forever After is a good fourth entry of the franchise. Yes it's not a perfect movie as it does have some problems.
