The Italian version consistently mistranslates "bone marrow" as "spinal cord" (in Italian the two terms are more similar).

As he is in the boat nearing the United States naval base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, Michael Moore shouts that the base is on United States soil.

It is on Cuban soil and leased by the United States.

Because of the extreme partisan divide within this country this film probably won't even be viewed by certain segments of our society. The fact is that if any news isn't from one of their "trusted sources" they simply won't believe it.

Very, very, very, very one sided view of things. This side left out a great amount of information and did not present a complete picture.

This review contains spoilers, you have been warned.10 stars because it was a social justice master piece, Michael-angelo's work of art hilariously exposing the crap that is the USA capitalist "health care" system, the cowardliness, hypocrisy and arbitrary bias and prejudice of politicians and rich people, and how the US people, just let the US Gov.

What irks me most about Michael Moore is the (rather inexplicable) idea that somehow he is a brave radical, railing against the system.Making a government-critical documentary in North Korea is brave.

Sicko is one of the most striking documentaries i have ever seen. At first, i did not expect to actually enjoy watching a film about health care and stuff like that but the film was made in a way that was witty and informational at the same time.

Sicko is a documentary directed by Michael Moore released in 2007 which addresses an always controversial topic in the United States: the existence of a private health care system. Shot in a documentary style, Sicko mixes political opinions, interviews of people who have suffered the weakness of the medical system and shows how other countries manage this issue.

As the original title was phonetically used as the Japanese title as it is, the film was not often welcomed regardless of good or bad. "Sicko" is a slang used as psychopath or weirdos.

When this film came out I was attending one of the most liberal universities in America. In a required course for those of us planning on a basic Liberal Arts degree we were assigned to see it.

This movie is obnoxious. It is blatantly attempting to dumb down the health care systems of a few countries to the degree that the average American is supposed to understand.
