When Spock Prime appears on the viewscreen of the Enterprise the image is flipped - Nimoy has an elongated earlobe on his right ear, but here it appears on the left.

Sulu's safety belt appears, disappears and then reappears during the final battle sequence.

In the shots of London, the British flag is flying upside down.

The broad white strip should be uppermost on the flagpole.

When Kirk is at the windowed door of the warp core, Spock puts his hand on the window to match Kirk's.

Spock's fingers do the Vulcan sign.

In the next shot, he his not doing it anymore.

When Admiral Marcus' warship first drops out of warp in front of the Enterprise, a set of panels partially close over the main deflector dish (the blue circle of lights on the bottom front of the ship).

However, in the next shot from the Enterprise viewscreen, the deflector dish is completely exposed again.

The views of the Golden Gate Bridge are only possible from the East Bay.

The Vengeance would have destroyed Berkeley, not San Francisco.

When Carol is brought back to the Enterprise with a broken leg, she can not walk without aid.

However, once in the Med-Bay and camera focus shifts away, she walks normally out of the shot.

During the exchange negotiations between Khan and Spock, Khan says he will destroy the enterprise' life support, located behind the aft nacelle.

The nacelles are the two tube like structures behind the saucer section, one to the right and the other to the left.

There is no 'aft' nacelle.

Also considering the nacelles protrude out behind the ship, there is nothing behind them.

The first time I watched this movie was in 2013 when it was released and back then I liked it... a lot!

This is the worst movie I have seen since I made the mistake of taking my kids to see "GI Joe"! J.

After a terrorist attack the crew of the Enterprise set out on unorthodox assassination mission. The time travel-alternate reality concept used in first film allows an old adversary to be awoken early allowing the writers to come up with an intriguing story.

With such a Wonderful "repeating core cast", Great CGI effects and Large budget this movie had to be a success. However, one has to wonder if the writers ever saw the complete original series at all.

For those who want the same story retold over and over it's a shame they can't see the brilliance JJ Abrams brings to the franchise. I think it was an excellent story and I love the twist!

Warning: below review is full of spoilers... if only there where anything to spoil...

I rarely bother to comment in IMDb . However, after watching STID, i cant believe that its rated 8.

Great Villain perfectly portrayed , good showing of the classic characters .It's ridiculous that so many of these children give it a 1 out of 10 .

That's what this one is all about and that is unfortunate because throughout its history the franchise was always more about the story, thoughtful and thought provoking, with meaningful dialog, well developed characters and a great plot. Sure, there was always some action but the action was there with the purpose of advancing the plot and it was never the central tenant of the whole structure.
