Sonia leaves her apartment in Adams Morgan in DC and walks to the Metro station in Rosslyn, which is in Virginia more than 2 miles away, on the Blue/Orange Line.

The closest Metro station to Sonia's house is probably Woodley Park/Zoo on the Red Line.

In the last scene where Cal McAffrey confronts Stephen Collins, on the desk behind Collins you can see a plaque reading "Haverford" - the college the two characters are supposed to have attended.

In between cuts towards the end of the scene, we look behind Collins, and a black cylindrical decoration has appeared in its place.

When the DC Police detectives descended en masse on the newspaper's offices, they had FBI badges on chains around their necks.

DC detectives wear DC police badges.

When Stephen shows Cal the video message from Sonia, the Nokia N95 mobile was in the down slide position but seconds later it was slid up so the keypad was displayed.

When Cal is driving to Stephen's office near the end of the film, it shows him driving without anything on his right hand, which was heavily wrapped up in obvious white bandages in both the scene before and after his drive.

Before Della runs after Cal in one of the office scenes near the end, she is wearing the pen necklace he gave her.

It was shown that she just got up and ran after him, but the next time we see her she is not wearing the pen necklace.

After Della Frye abandons the phone call from McAffrey during the night, she throws her mobile phone onto the night stand.

The phone changes its position twice during the subsequent shots.

When we first see the newspaper's lobby, there's a man putting the new parent company's sign up.

In the very next shot, as Cal rounds the corner, both the man and the sign have disappeared.

When Cal goes to the apartment which soon leads up to the garage scene, the shooter comes down the hallway with a laundry basket in which his left hand is gripping the brim of the basket and his right hand is holding the bottom, when is cuts back to Cal we see no movement of the shooter, but in the next shot the shooter is holding the brim with both hands, then in the next shot it goes back to him holding the bottom.

McAffrey's car is shown to have a CB and at least one other radio, yet there are no antennas on his car.

In the photograph that shows Sen.

Stephen Collins with his fellow Gulf War soldiers, it is obvious that 'Ben Affleck' (qv)'s face has been edited into the photo.

When Anne is looking out the window of her home to look at the news vans across the street, there is a WHYY microwave truck between the other vans.

WHYY TV has no such trucks.

When McAffrey leaves the office he is shown putting his briefcase over his shoulder.

As he next enters the Chili Restaurant, we cannot see the briefcase.

Yet, after he orders he looks down next to him and realizes the briefcase is missing.

It wasn't there to begin with as it should have been.

Midway through the movie, when a character takes the Washington Globe off of a news rack, it is a tabloid.

In the final scene, it's a broadsheet.

A key piece of evidence is obtained by watching surveillance video from the Metro station.

While there are cameras in the Metro system, they are on a closed circuit used only by station managers to observe the station.

They are not recorded.

Crystal City (the stated location of the bad guy's apartment house and location of the chase in the underground parking garage) is in Virginia.

DC Police (MPDC) would not respond to calls there (unless under Mutual Aid circumstances, a super rare thing) In the final scene of the printing montage at the end, the sign on the side of the truck says "Washington Post".

- PLOTWhile difficult to measure accurately, the film takes place over too short a period of time, for the action involved.

From the dates on the newspapers, the timeframe appears to be 3 or 4 days maximum.

Yet the evolving nature of the story, the amount of time required to track down leads, etc.

, probably would require much more time.

(at around 1h 55 mins) Spelling mistakes on the newspaper page shown at the end of the movie.

The paragraph to the right of the photo of PointCorp CEO has following".

thanks to a work of a si memeber Senate group.

" In the scene where Della receives the photograph, she is talking to a character who we haven't met yet at this point.

It is Rhonda, the college roommate.

The WHYY is a non-commerical, education TV station licensed in Wilmington, DELAWARE, and a PBS station in Philadelphia PENNSYLVANIA At 37:55 a closeup of the Gulf War group photo is onscreen briefly, the camera cuts away and then at 37:58 cuts back to the same photo which has been altered.

The smiling face of the soldier (Bingham) at the far right has been changed to a different unsmiling face.

Also, the faces of Collins and Bingham have been Photoshopped the second time the photo is shown.
