Mostly chill teen drama of some boys hanging out till they find some things of a marine brother and things get dark fast. Not sure why others didn't like this movie but this is only my second time seeing to which I really enjoy it especially the atmospheric scenery is incredible!
I got the impression the film was made on a low budget. That's cool.
I think a lot of the reviews here are by kids. Since it's a film about high school kids, it might attract a young audience.

Well, the film did a great job in these terms: depicting extreme socially awkward teens (+ a ton of CRINGE throughout the film, that is near to our own youth and how we might feel about it..)NOSTALGIA: many details (objects, scenes, costumes) work very well for the 90s...
The story was rather uninteresting and weak. The plot was not exciting, so it was mostly boring.
Wow. The cinematography was amazing, the score was beautiful, a dark atmosphere, great acting and some brilliant, mind-blowing theories of that stressful ending of the film.
I don't want to say anything cause I don't like spoiling movies but omg this movie is painfully slow, so much time waisted in nonsense like I want to seat almost 2 hours and listen to people just talk, and whats with the deer on the beginning? Just stealing more minutes of my life with no reason or explanation?
I was wondering if he is the third brother of safdie brothers because dang sure there are similarities between this movies and good time, i loved it & enjoyed it.
