Just before Elise sprains her ankle, there is a long shot of the performers dancing, clearly showing someone else in 'Emily Blunt' (qv)'s place.

When Elise woke up, the alarm clock was at 8:20, yet she had received four phone calls, the most recent being from 11:03.

Later she said she had received them in the same morning (not last night).

The newspaper that reports Elise's dance career and engagement repeats the same paragraphs several times, taking up space in order to fill the article.

When David is on the bus with Elise she drops his blackberry in the cup of coffee.

He receives a call from Charlie on his flip phone.

After the scene cuts to Charlie talking on the phone and back to David, David is talking on his Blackberry instead of the flip phone.

This is one continuous conversation that should have been done on one phone.

Elise's marriage license application is issued by the Department of Human Services.

In reality it would be issued by the City Clerk's office.

When David is taken to the garage for the first time, we clearly see that he is in handcuffs.

After his failed attempt to escape, when he is back in the chair, the handcuffs are gone and he moves his arms freely.

On the night of the 2006 election, Norris watches coverage on CNN.

CNN's on-screen graphics match their 2011 scheme, which wasn't implemented until 2008.

He's also watching an HD broadcast of CNN; CNN HD did not debut until September 2007.

After they meet for the first time after the wedding, and Elise leaves the bus, David takes a call on a Samsung cell phone.

After a cut away, he is speaking on his Blackberry.

In the newspaper article regarding the congressman's college prank, one of the accompanying photographs was taken during the warehouse party Elise takes him to later in the film.

At 1:30:18, David Norris stops a Dodge Avenger when he runs in front of it.

In the next seen though at 1:30:19 through 1:30:21, you see a Dodge Charger instead.

On the Marriage License issued 10/7/2009, Elise's DOB is listed as 11/11/77, making her 31 at the time that this was issued as her birthday for 2009 has not yet arrived.

Item 15 (Age) on the license, however, lists her age as 32.

In the very last scene, just before the credits, an extra can be seen filming the scene with a smart phone from the car.

Matt Damon, who looks and sounds in this film like another of the Kennedy clan as befitting his Boston background, stars in The Adjustment Bureau as a would be US Senator from New York State. He's just lost a race, but is looking eagerly for a comeback.

The movie has its ups and down, and you have to suspend your belief to thoroughly enjoy it. David Norris is in the running to be on senate, and Elise is a dancer whom he comes across in the men's bathroom.

Saw this on the plane so it was either free or $1800 depending how you look at it. Even free, on a plane with nothing else to do it was still a waste of my life.

If you are any kind of free-thinker, don't waste your time with this. The movie is TERRIBLE.

A fresh idea.. There is a Bureau, the agents of this bureau are adjusting our everyday activities so as to make us follow the basic PLAN that has been jot down by "The Chairman" for us..

This is the best film I have watched this year. It is a mixture of romance, adventure and science fiction and it is very interesting.

Summary: The premise is the worst I ever heard of, the plot is lame, and the film ended really poorly. You didn't get sucked into the world of the film, the special effects and action are not cool.

For all of you who are tired of thoughtless mindless action thrillers that are pouring out in plenty in Hollywood these days, "The Adjustment Bureau" promises to be pleasantly refreshing. Of a genre that can be classified as romantic thriller meeting science fiction, this movie entertains and intrigues you at the same time.

It's a tough job - putting Philip K. Dick's story into a movie.
