Amelia spends several minutes in the waters of New York Harbor, then heads for the subway station in perfectly dry clothes.

When Amelia must investigate the Navy Street Station for evidence, she descends into a subway tunnel.

However, the old Navy Street Station in New York City was actually an elevated, above-ground station.

Amelia's case seems to make its own way around the tunnels when she goes to examine the body that was steamed to death.

The view from the car window does not match the swerving you'd expect from Amelia's frantic steering and the screeching sound effects as she drives to the wife of the first victim.

In the very beginning of the movie, when Alan Rubin and his wife are waiting for a cab, Rubin is clearly holding a brief case, but in all subsequent shots the briefcase is missing.

When Amelia jumps in the water to save the two victims there is tape on the little girl's mouth.

A moment later, the tape is not visible.

When Rhyme has had everyone set up in his home and they are working on finding the wife, every scene in his apartment shows it to be storming quite heavily outside but when Amelia and the other detectives step outside it is a bright sunny day.

In the very opening scene, Lincoln, a quadriplegic, wakes alone from a nightmare and the shot from above shows his knees are bent and parted.

In the next shot, his legs are perfectly straight with only the feet tenting the sheet.

When Dective Kenny Solomon checks on Ameila at her apartment, he enters through her kitchen window.

After he enters the window is shut.

Then they go into the next room and you see the window open in the background.

Lincoln's socks have dirty soles when he is lying in bed.

How does a quadriplegic dirty the soles of his socks? In the scene where it reveals Amelia killing Richard, she is seen shooting him in the back.

However, when you see her shooting him several times, there are no signs of blood or gun shot wounds where he should have been shot.

When the detective's car is about to enter the abandoned slaughter house compound, and as seen from the front, the lights are turned off.

You then see the car, from the rear, pull up just inside the compound with the rear lights on.

The detectives get out of the car and turn the lights off.

When the murderer is to turn the steam-pipe he just unbolts the valve flange and then push it to turn it.

this is impossible to do, besides you can see the pipe elbow is bolted on the pipe that continuing out of the picture.

By shooting and killing a rat, Amelia has contaminated the crime scene that she was sent to investigate.

- PLOTWhen Rhyme and the other police are examining the evidence on the track, Rhyme refers to the bolt as "iron" but doesn't find out until later that the bolt is iron, not steel.

In the scene where Richard is testing Lincoln's heart monitor with a Fluke, he is only using one lead, instead of two.

This may be a deliberate flourish related to the twist regarding Richard's nature.

It never seems to amaze me, but even through the most contrived films out there, Denzel Washington could still pull off an amazing thriller. His body language in his comfort zone which is why he more often gets cast as an athlete or a military personnel.

Don't be like Amelia. Be brave.

Just saw for this was most talked movie. But me it is above average investigation thriller.

Protagonist Lincoln Rhyme is a former detective and a forensics expert who was left a quadriplegic after an accident. He is not enjoying life and tries to persuade a doctor friend to help him commit suicide… before that can happen he is approached by colleagues wanting help.

Denzel Washington really didn't have to get out of bed for his performance here as "Lincoln" a now-quadriplegic forensics expert who is prone to dangerous seizures. Not wishing to risk surviving one of these in a vegetative state, he has elected for euthanasia.

"The Bone Collector" is a Crime - Mystery movie in which we watch a quadriplegic ex-homicide detective trying to find the murderer behind a crime before becoming the next serial killer. He has the help of his partner to succeed it but he has to be fast in order to avoid any other or the next killing.

Philip Noyce's The Bone Collector augments it's atmosphere in the obvious hopes of evoking memories of David Fincher's Sev7n (It's even got an actor who also appeared in that film) which for the most part it nicely does. Story wise, however, it's got entirely it's own thing going on and follows the ever popular path of the serial killer whodunit.

I must say I recently watched the movie (2020) on Netflix. and boy oh boy!
