At the resturant when Kuzco is dressed as a female, he is wearing Pacha's poncho as a dress.

He can be seen taking it off and dropping it near the restaurant, so when Pacha is wearing it later, it could well be because he's picked it up.

When Pacha is wearing his green cloak his entire under-outfit is brown (which is obviously clear when he raises his arms) but when he takes off the cloak to give to Kuzco, his shirt is white.

When Pacha tells Kuzco about Yzma trying to kill him, they are standing in front of a large tree trunk.

In close-ups the trunk appears chopped in places, but is intact in wider shots.

The mark Chicha makes on the doorway when Tipo asks to be measured again disappears soon afterward.

After dragging the unconscious Kuzco out of the water, Pacha puts his ear to Kuzco's chest to check for a heartbeat.

As he does, he also puts his right hand over Kuzco, but on the very next shot the hand is no longer there.

Just after Kuzco and Pacha come out of the canal drain, when Pacha says, "It's gotta be one of these," he isn't wearing his hat.

After Yzma joins them and attacks Kuzco, Pacha is wearing his hat again.

When Kuzco and Pacha are walking up the cliff, Kuzco asks which foot to use, and they eventually agree to use his right, which would mean Pacha's left.

When they eventually step, they both use their right feet.

At the dinner table the position of the plates, silverware, tablecloth and spinach puffs change from shot to shot.

The spinach puffs and the small plate Kronk serves one on disappear and reappear in the scene.

When Yzma and Kronk are visiting Pacha's house, Chicha's headband is blue.

When Kronk is leaving the house, it is green.

After Kitty Yzma bounces off the trampoline, the upshot shows the trampoline, but not the guard, the delivery man, or the delivery cart who were in the previous shot.

When the old man is thrown out of the window, his sandals fall off in midair, yet when Pacha finds him tangled in the banner, he is wearing them.

When Yzma pulls the lever to go down to their laboratory the first time, she is on the right and Kronk is on the left, but when it cuts to the next screen, they are switched.

After Pacha saves Llama Kuzco from drowning and lays him on the bank, Kuzco's mouth is wide open and his tongue is clearly sticking out.

But when Pacha is about to give the kiss of life, he has to open Kuzco's mouth and the tongue pops out again.

Yzma tells Kronk that the only ones that know she's fired is the three of them (herself, Kuzco and Kronk) forgetting the person who wrote her pink slip which would make it four.

While falling down the stairs after stepping on a cat's tail, you can hear Kronk say"Back, Elbow, Shoulders", However, he's actually falling in the opposite ordershoulders, elbow, back.

The mix-up with the poison occurs because of a peeling label on the bottle, yet it's the only bottle in the entire lab which even *has* a label so it shouldn't have been that hard to identify.

Kuzco says "What's with the chimp and the bug?" There are no chimps in the New World, and the primate depicted is not a chimp.

The room where Kuzco looks at prospective brides has a peacock feather motif.

Peacocks are Asian, however the "modernized" pseudo-Incan society depicted here does have commerce with the rest of the world, as shown in the sequel _The Emperor's New Groove 2Kronk's New Groove (2005) (V)_ (qv).

Jaguars do not travel in large groups.

Even if they did, there would not be so many black jaguars in one place, as this color is not as common as that.

When Yzma gets stuck being a piñata, 4 children in blindfolds beat her with sticks.

For obvious reasons piñata is never played with four blindfolded stick-swinging individuals.

While carrying the unconscious Kuzco in a sack, Kronk presses himself against the castle wall to "hide" himself from the old couple who slowly walk by him.

In the next shot, it is clear that the only way the couple could have gone after walking by Kronk is up a huge stairway to the top of the castle, which would have taken considerable time at their pace, yet the couple has completely vanished.

The theme song describes Kuzco as an icon in "Mesoamerican history".

Mesoamerica stretched from Mexico to Central America, not Peru where the story takes place.

When Yzma is explaining a cruel irony to Kronk, a pink iris appears in her right eye, only to disappear two seconds later.

When Pacha is sliding on Turtle Kuzcos back away from the guards, he chooses a vile and gives it to Kuzco.

When the close up of Kuzco drinking the vile appears, Pacha's feet are not visible on his back.

Amusing film.'The Emperor's New Groove' doesn't, in my opinion, feature a great plot, amazing music or incredible animation.

"The Emperor's New Groove" obviously falls into one of two categories for most people: "I Loved It", or "I Hated It". There's a large segment of society that loves the simplicity and innocence of the Disney formula: Beautiful visuals, moralistic value-reaffirmation, and escapism.

The Emperor's New Groove (2000): Dir: Mark Dindal / Voices: David Spade, John Goodman, Eartha Kitt, Patrick Warburton, Wendie Malick: Hilarious animation suggesting the new groove as personality and perspective delivered from the influence of pride and greed. We meet the selfish Emperor who decides to build a summer home where a peaceful village already exists.

There is basically nothing wrong with this film. There are some moments that feel unnecessary, and you could call the comedy hit or kiss at times, but weirdly enough that's exactly why the film works so well.

When I saw the trailer on the VHS tapes for other Disney movies I was a bit skeptical. Then at the age of 8 it went on TV and I thought of giving it a chance...

It's a Disney movie, and I found it to be entertaining. I liked seeing "The Emperor's New Groove".

Before seeing it, I wondered why this film wasn't considered part of the Disney Renaissance. It did well with most critics and performed sufficiently at the box office.

One of the most underrated animations of the recent Disney era. It has obvious flaws, undeniable, and the protagonist is so ridiculously stupid that he sometimes gets irritated.
