In the subway car at the opening of the film (approx 00:02:20), a ladder is visible through the left window, highlighting the use of a set and studio.

How can a person talk when he was struck with a bone in his throat? After Leon has his tongue ripped off, you can see the tongue intact in his mouth.

When Maya is searching through Mahogany's bathroom, at one point the white t-shirt of a crew member is visible in the mirror.

When Leon is showing Maya the newspaper article dated December 19, 1895, a closeup of the newspaper shows a column of copy containing the words, "bikini-clad babes and tanned hunks".

Putting aside the unlikelihood of that style of news-writing in 1895, the term "bikini", as regards clothing, was not coined until the mid-1940's.

When a woman gets her head ripped off, she is still able to groan.

This is impossible because she'll need her lungs to make that sound.

When Mahogany hits with his hammer you can clearly see blood splattering all around, but he never gets any drop on him or on his clothing.

Near the end of the film where Maya goes to the subway, she gets through the gate by scanning her card on the wrong part of the barrier.

This movie was cool, it was horrific and it followed a very original story based on a book by Clive Barker.Movies based on best selling author's tend to have that special something in them that really separates them from the mediocre and cliché.

This would be a midnight drive-in, shock, blood soaked movie from my childhood. Sophomoric and pointless, it's like a kid with a new computer playing a too heavily CG-ed video game.

Definetivately horrible, no history, no sense. I don't recommend this movie at all.

Bradley Cooper plays the photographer who goes on an ill-advised hunt for a serial killer on the subway in this adaptation of a Clive Barker short story. A brutal, punchy, visceral thrill ride with ludicrous amounts of gore, this doesn't sound like much but is surprisingly satisfactory.

A great movie i must say. Its been a long time there comes a movie that hits you in head.

Probably one of the worst movies I've seen.It manages a 3 stars only because the start showed a little promise and I actually managed to watch the whole movie...

Started out as a humdrum serial killer flick then descended into utter crap! Poor fx.

I was pretty impressed by the movie at first, they make sure you get to know the characters and that you get emotionally involved, but as the movie progressed it got more and more ridiculous. It didn't take me long to figure out that there was more to the butcher than met the eye and that there was something weird going on and the whole ending wasn't too surprising (Leon's ending).

A vicious killer (Vinnie Jones) hunts the late-night subway with a meat hammer. Leon Kaufman (Bradley Cooper) is a street photographer who lives with waitress Maya (Leslie Bibb).
